The fittings work exactly like they are supposed to. Added a section of hose on my torch, sprayed it down with soapy water, no leaks...good to go!

Back flash for torch
I got them and installed them in the lines in my torch As far as I know they work great for letting the gas and oxygen flow through, I just hope I never have to test them to keep fire from going back into the tanks.

Work as they should join 3/16 and 1/4 or any combination of the two.

Hose add on.
Hose to short! These connectors are much cheaper than buying a longer hose. Just screw them into the hose then connect another hose. The only down side is you will lose a little more gas when you are done and relieve the pressure on the hoses. Cheap easy fix.

Waste of money
Arrived on time.....except both my connectors were for the oxygen side of the hose. The acetylene connector is supposed to be reversed threaded. Had to re-order from someone else.
