love this, need to find a way to attach it so that it hangs from my camera or hand strap but i’m still glad i bought this

The price is good, the quality is fine, fits nicely and gets the job done. Just be prepared. If you forget to take it off before turning on the camera, the cap will pop off and get away from you!

This lens cap/cover is a must-have for the Ricoh camera. It protects the lens from dust and damage when in your bag or jacket pocket.

The camera I bought in eBay for this item was defective, so I had to return this item,,,,,

This is a bit too much to carry as it's a separate piece you have to worry about when it's off the camera. I don't know that this is really needed.

Gets the job done, protects from dust. Has begun to leave a mark on my camera body though (light black marking around the lens i got the diary edition so its noticeable)

Perfect cap for the GR.

Nice metal cap itself but poorly glued soft material from the inside. After a week of use the soft material started to deform and I had to glue it back and be very careful with how put this cup on. In addition to this the excess glue leaves marks on the camera. The marks are easy to clean. But I don’t like the glue on my camera, looks and feels bad.

Great item protects the front of your gr3 and gr3x when they’re in your bag cheap protection. Only issue I have is that with the lens caps on the gr cameras no longer fit in the Ricoh leather cases made specifically for the cameras but still highly recommended.

GR IIIxで使用しています。 GRシリーズはレンズバリアがありますが、ポケットやバッグにそのまま入れることが多く、ホコリや衝撃対策として購入しました。 金属製なので安っぽさがなく、本体とのデザインの相性も良好です。装着も簡単で、撮影時はサッと外せます。 実際に子どもとの公園遊びや旅行で持ち歩いていますが、レンズ周りへの不安がかなり減りました。特に砂場や海辺では安心感があります。 ただし撮影前に外すひと手間は増えるため、完全なスナップ専用機として使いたい人には好みが分かれるかもしれません。 個人的にはレンズ保護による安心感の方が大きく、GRを長く使いたい人にはおすすめできるアクセサリーです。

Fit my camera lens nice and snug

第一印象は重いなーと言うこと。 とても良く出来ています。純正品かと思うほどピッタリです。 私はこの商品を埃対策で購入しました。 GRはセンサーに埃がつきやすいと言われています。しかし、気をつければ大丈夫です。 私はフィルムのGR以外全てのGRを買って使って来ましたが埃が入り、修理に出したのは1台だけです。ケースに入れて使う分に埃が入る事がありませんでした。そのままでポケットに入れて散歩していた1台が埃入りました。 それでこのキャップをつければ埃対策になると思い購入しました。 コレ以外に両面テープで保護フィルターを貼り付けるタイプもありますが、カッコ悪いし、剥がす時レンズに負荷がかかりそうです。 このキャップをを購入する方に知っておいて欲しい事。 1 重くなります。厚い金属製で、フェルトが中に貼ってます。もう少し薄ければ良かった。 2 カメラを置くと斜めになります。これはキャップが大きくて底面よりはみ出すので、テーブルに置いた時カメラが少し上を向いた状態になります。 3 ピッタリと装着できますので、忘れてカメラを起動した時レンズに負荷がかかりそうです。 4 グリップよりキャップ部分が前に出るので、専用ケースが付かなくなります。 まとめ、いつも裸で使いたい方はこのキャップをつければ埃対策できます。普段からケースに入れて持ち運んでいる方は埃の心配は無いと思います。
