They are easy to grip and handle which is a huge plus! They’re nicely made also!

They have a comfy handle and the handle is fixed well to the hook. Hooks are strong, no bending or breakage. The gauge of the hooks is to tolerance. A 1.5 mm is a 1.5mm. No rusting or discoloration. No reaction on my hands like a rash or itching. I like them. The price was right!

These hooks are perfect. The grips are so comfortable! I recommend them to everyone! My mom has been using mental books her whole life, I bought her this set and she loves them too

I find the .75 and .50mm hooks don’t grab threads easily and tend to snag the threads. The other sizes are great. Very comfortable and durable. Good value for a starter set.

Did you know that you can pull a snagged thread on your sweater / jeans / pants / shirt through to the other side to hide it? Well now you do! I've used that trick for years but recently our cats snagged my favorite dress pants and I didn't have any crochet hooks tiny enough to catch and pull through the thread without making the problem worse. So I got these! The smallest size is perfect. I don't micro-crochet, so a few of these will be living in my sock drawer for emergency snag repair. The rest will live in the craft bin juuuuuust in case i do pick up another new hobby. :)

I like the range of sizes. I had a problem with the .5 mm hook. It is really too small to be made from this metal (aluminum I believe). Taking it out of the package, I actually bent the hook. It wouldn’t be possible to actually crochet with something so slender and fragile. That said, the other hooks seem to be fine. It isn’t really worth the effort of returning the whole set over the one hook being unusable. I will probably get good use out of the larger hooks from this set. If I had known, I might have gotten a set with only the largest hooks, or I might have gotten a set of steel hooks. I do like the comfort grip. I noticed that the handles on these hooks are a little short. I have to hold it with my first three fingers because my pinky hangs off the shorter handle. The photo shows one of these hooks next to a hook from a different set. You can see the difference. I don’t think it would prevent me from being able to crochet, but it would definitely take some getting used to.

Items are as advertised and received in good order. They look like they will suit the purpose of my purchase I like to do fine crocheting from time to time as a hobby. My older hooks looked a b8t tired and I thought it was a good time to upgrade my equipment.

Bought these for a project using embroidery thread to crochet, this needing small hooks. The assortment of hooks was great and I liked that they are comfortable to grip, colour-coded, and have the size imprinted into the handle and will not rub off like others that are printed on the hook. An excellent set to have for your crochet supplies arsenal and at an affordable price point.
