Students do not want to make mistakes in describing appearances or relationships, yet few books provide such clear guidance at this vocabulary level. The emphasis on North American English is also appreciated. Like the other Cambridge books in this outstanding "Vocabulary in use" series, this self-study book includes the answers in the back. While many English teachers believe this inclusion makes the book unsuitable for classroom use, I would argue that providing readers with the answer keys adds value to students, tutors, and teachers. I strongly recommend that English teachers keep a copy in their bookcase.
