Pretty sure this is the first review I’ve ever written—but this bag deserves it! I ordered three others before finally getting this one, and I’m so glad I did. I was hesitant at first because I wasn’t sure I’d want a black beach bag, and online it looked a little too plastic. But I absolutely love it! The size, the quality, and the fact that it’s not a dull or bland black—it’s perfect. So happy I finally got it right. Honestly, I wish I had just gone with my first instinct! Plus I ready had a matching lunch bag.

Handmade… that was completely unexpected.I’ve had this bag on my wishlist for more than 3 years and I received a notification it was on sale by about 50% - not the reason I was waiting but I bought it. If I’d taken the time to look closer at the description and what I was buying, I probably would have waited until it went back to full price.Now, here’s the goods.This bag is huge. Much bigger than I thought it would be and there is so much room, I can use it as a weekend bag or on my day trips to the beach.The color is absolutely stunning on the outside. It is better than the pictures on the listing. What surprised me is the very beautiful Blue inside the bag/lining. It’s a turquoise and a perfect complement to the purple on the outside. The outside pocket is also lined in the same blue.The material is soft yet has the feel of easy to clean/wipe off, which for me is great, where I work, everyone and everything can sometimes get and be dirty so to be able to wipe it down at the end of the day would be perfect. It’s a nice thick, sturdy material that will last a lifetime if it’s well taken care of.The straps… I’m a big girl.. 5’7”tall 275lbs with big (bat wing) arms and the straps fit perfectly on my shoulder making this back functional and very easy to use for me.I cannot wait to show it off!20/10 Buy This Bag!! We spend a lot of time at the pool every summer. I prefer to throw my basic purse stuff in a bag other than what I use for non-pool time so it if gets dirty, sandy, or wet on the outside, I'm not left with a soggy regular purse. I keep various odds and ends in there that are specific to the pool, like an insulated pouch for keeping electronics insulated and dry if needed, sharpies for swim meets, a backup phone battery, waterproof bandages, my sun hat, etc. other than my basic purse things (mainly my wallet, phone, keys, etc.). The bag I had used for the last probably 5-6 summers seems to have lost any water resistance that it used to have, plus I was ready for a new one.I've only had the bag for a little over a week, but have gone to the pool 3 times. It hasn't gotten a major test yet (water spilled on it, wet towels thrown on it, etc.). but it seems to be reasonably water resistant on the outside. It's perhaps slightly bigger than I actually need - maybe I should have gone with the smaller size - but this gives me the flexibility to throw in a towel and bathing suit and go to the pool on my own with the basics of what I need. So I'm fine with it being maybe a little big for my purposes.It has a couple of zip pouches inside the bag, which is useful for the smallest items, and one outside. The fabric and print of the pattern appear to be good quality so far. It's overall lightweight for anyone for whom that is a major consideration, without being excessively flimsy. My main suggestions so far for any new iterations of this bag would be to have the bottom on the bag be a little firmer and maybe have an added layer of fabric for protection (I personally would be willing to sacrifice a little bit of extra bag weight for that), and for the straps to perhaps be adjustable.But overall, good bag, especially for the price!

Well made and durable. Purchased for a spa day with friends. Bag easily held all my necessities including extra swimsuit, change of clothing, toiletries, wallet, kindle etc. The many pockets kept all items well organized. This is now my go to travel and beach bag.

Light weight, a lot pockets, washable, good quality . Perfect for beach, travel and camping
