Very good product, well made and came very sharp, ready to carve. The canvas bag is really nice and thick to provide good protection. The handles have flat sides so they don’t roll off work surface. I received a duplicate chisel and was missing one size chisel in my set and I emailed the shipper when I noticed it. He responded right away and apologized about the mistake and sent me the correct chisel to complete the set right away. Very happy with the response time and the professionalism of the shipper and his product. I highly recommend this product if you want a chisel set to last a long time. I tried a couple of cheaper chisel sets and they were a waste of money and didn’t last.

Bought these as a birthday gift. Durability ease of use, sharpness and comfort are spectacular.

Great set of tools. Nice for small carving. Wonderful canvas case. I would advise the use of mesh carving gloves as these come very sharp.

Well, first off these are real professional tools for carving just like the Swiss made one's without having to pay the $500 dollar price tag. The tools are perfectly aligned and completely straight from the handle which is important, the Winckelsteel is strong,thick and heavy duty. The handle is a perfect length, it's octagonal so it won't roll off your table and they seem well put together to tap on them from the top, they also come with a cool little plastic covering for a little extra storage safety. I love the bag that they come in! It's heavy duty and easy to roll close with flaps to cover your tools before rolling closed, has leather straps that are easy and efficient to close and open. It even has a great color combo...bluish grey with brown tan straps. All in all I'm super happy and glad I didn't purchase those other cheap sets that are out there. I definitely recommend and even encourage anyone looking for an inexpensive professional carving set of tools to get this great set! There great for beginners such as myself and experts alike.

At first glance, I was ecstatic. Seemed to be as described. The protective caps were a little curious but that didn't bother me. Ive now had them for a day and boy was I ever wrong. Ill give 2 stars for the steel and an extra for the price tag. These are not the best quality by any means. What they describe online and what I got are two completely different things. Hate to say it but the highest quality of items that was sent was the bag. Every one of these gouges has a wave in its edge. They are not straight. Not sure if this was intentionally done or not. Description says they go through a 2-month polishing process yet mine have scratches all over them. I dont think so. About half of the tools are not centered in their handles and there are gaps around the tang. A few even have what look to be like tooth marks at the base from who knows what tool. Not sure what caused those but however these are being put together is not working. Best part yet, the blade for my #5-20 mm was loose and when I tugged on it, it came right out revealing the 1 3/4 inch tang.Are they worth it? Eh... maybe. You be the judge. I do like the steel. Sharp out of the box. Holds that edge and cuts through the wood with ease. They have potential but with a little work on my part.Follow up: I would like to add that I have been in contact with Winkelsteel in regards to my concerns and I have nothing but great things to say about their customer service. They responded quickly, were very professional, polite and willing to address and resolve my issues. I believe that this will be a fantastic set to have once they make improvements in production.

Bought this for my boyfriend, held up well, perfect size napsack to hold tools and is beautiful itself with the leather and fabric
