They would rub off. At frame you only have compression not rubbing. **Q: Can you stack two of them for wider gaps? Willl they stick to each other?** A: I put one on the door and one on the door frame for a wider gap and it worked perfectly. Just make sure you face them wide end to thin end. **Q: Are they made in the USA?** A: I don’t know. I’ve made it a point to look for American made products even though I have to pay more but I don’t remember on this one. **Q: Do they make these on full length strips 80" or something close?** A: I can’t find any.
