Disney DCM-9 Mickey Mini Waffle Maker, Black

The media could not be loaded. I bought this in 2019! It's now 2025 and I just purchased a 2nd one but only because I wanted two to make double the waffles at a time. My original mickey waffle iron from 2019 still works great! And it is used almost DAILY. I even brought it on our vacation and made some in the hotel... shhh. I love that it has a clasp to lock it so you don't have to sit and hold it. Anyway, great investment.

My family loves Disney, we have spent more money on Disney than likely anything else in our lives (between merch and going to the parks, I even met my husband at Disneyland) My kids love waffles and loved getting the Mickey shaped waffles at the parks. This waffle maker is perfect for us. We bought it for our 12 year old for Christmas and it’s been a huge hit in our home. It only makes one waffle at a time, so for 3 school age kiddos it does take a few minutes to make enough for everyone but the waffles cook up pretty fast so in actuality it’s really not a long wait at all. On the plus side, if you just need to make one waffle quickly (we have a 3 year old) I can have just one waffle cooked and served in under 5 mins (no exaggeration) and you can have the maker cleaned up and put away in just a few moments. Makes mornings a bit easier. It is very easy to clean and our 12 and 11 year olds can use this, and clean it up/put it away completely on their own. Make note though, there is no audible beep or indicator your waffle is finished. My kids like a crispy outside and soft inside so I leave my waffles in the maker for about 2- 2.5 mins. A soft waffle can be done In about a 90 seconds or so. It’s not a big lunky piece of kitchen equipment so it’ll fit perfect in a cupboard and take up hardly any room. Our 17 year old is heading off to university this fall and I plan on picking her up one for her dorm once these are back in stock. Price was nice, paid under $15. We will get our use out of this for sure.

I had one of those, “before I sleep, I’m going to go onto Amazon and see what’s happening”Which really is, I’m going to buy things I don’t really need. Came across this waffle maker with overnight shipping. Thought it probably won’t make it in time for breakfast but it got here before 7 (thank you Amazon drivers for being so amazing) and we had an amazing breakfast with Mickey Mouse waffles.Enough with story time. So these waffles are thicker, not the thin ones if you’re into that. It does take a bit of practice and more batter than you think. I’m used to having an indicator to tellMe when the waffle is done, this one doesn’t have that, you just have to time it and check. I didn’t have enough batter for one of them and the top side of the waffle never contacted the waffle maker which means it didn’t get crispy that side. Not the waffle makers fault but be prepared for some trial and error. Highly recommend!

Great waffle iron. This will answer any questions you may have. The size/weight is a little greater than an eggo. If it's not cooked through you may have too thin a batter( find a great recipe or buy krusteaz waffle mix). Other reviews says it shuts off randomly, yes so it doesn't become over heated. That means the iron itself is up to temp. That doesn't mean the waffle is done. It has a large enough area on the side that overflow isn't a huge issue. My iron was able to stay open without falling shut.When making waffles you need to adjust how much you poor and watch the steam. Lock the top. You can spray a little oil in the iron but I honestly have not and had no issue sticking. That will allow the expansion fill the top of the iron. I bought it for my my sons 7th birthday. If he can do it so can you. (As always supervise your kids, results may vary, consult a physician to see if waffles are an appropriate meal for your health and lifestyle side effects may include burns, carb tiredness, weight gain bloating after 6 waffles, house fires while paying attention to your phone ect.)Update. Still going strong after a year. Used around 5 times a month. The boys love power cakes made in it. Still no issues with it sticking without in being sprayed. Just watch the steam. When it dies down its time to pull it out. Don’t rush it. It should almost look over done but the steam inside will soften it up a minute after pulling them out. Second photo was a year later.
