How deep can detect from earth?

The biggest factor is the size of the target. This detector for the most part can detect targets such as gold nuggets from the surface down 2-3 foot. Anything beyond that would require a very huge gold nugget or metal item. The GPZ 7000 is the most powerful handheld detector on the market today for gold nugget detecting.
