Prominence Home 42" Reston Ceiling Fan w/Light, Chain & 3 Blades, Bronze

My husband installed two of these Prominence Home Reston ceiling fans in my kitchen after he got tired of hearing me complain that the kitchen was hotter than the rest of the house (I'm sure I greatly contributed to the heat problem while I was using the oven, a toaster oven and had an air fryer going at the same time!). They look great compared to the fluorescent fixtures that were there. The only change he made was to change out the LED bulbs to "daylight" 100 watt equivalent LED bulbs that we bought at Amazon, specifically these: "FLSNT 100W Equivalent LED Chandelier Light Bulbs E26 Base, 5000K Daylight Dimmable LED Candelabra Bulbs, 800LM, 12Pack UL,CA65 Listed." They look white instead of the more yellow throw of the bulbs that come included. We had to go with the 42 inch because of the space where we had to install them couldn't handle anything larger due to clearances, and after having much larger fans in other areas I was worried that these wouldn't move much air. I shouldn't have worried about that, they move PLENTY of air and are perfect for me. Thanks Honey (and Amazon) for these fans!

Good looking fan! Very happy with this purchase! Glad i skipped the fans from a big box store. - Straightforward instructions; installation was quick and easy. - Includes spare screws, washers, and dome nuts in case any go missing. - Generous lead length (nstalled with a 12-inch extension rod and still had 36 inches of wire remaining) and wire guage large enough to fit Wago 221's - Works with standard E26/ST19 bulbs; a slight outward swivel of the sockets provides enough clearance - Glass housing adds a premium feel. - Strong, high-output airflow - Sturdy build and impressively lightweight. (No plastic parts, apart from the blades)

This fan works great and was so easy to put it up. Having minimal experience in installing ceiling fans was not a problem and I did this without backup.

This fan looks great and moves air well at slow speed.The light kit works well.The motor does have a louder hum than expected.It was installed to a high vaulted ceiling which required additional hardware including a longer stem.The motor hum is tolerable for me ,with the high ceiling in a large room.Assembly is easy. I recommend a Professional Installer.Flat lower ceilings are easier.

We purchased three of these ceiling fans to replace hideous ones in all of our bedrooms. We replaced all three in the span of a few days (and we didn’t strangle each other). My only complaint would be that the instructions tell you to assemble things out of order. Which led to a longer installation for the first one we replaced. Once we learned that lesson the rest of them went up in a breeze! They work great, are quiet, and look very nice!

Husband had a devil of a time hooking up the last bit but we are pleased at looks and size. Our bedroom is so little its perfect. Bright lights! It rocks when fan is on or you switch things on n off so thats a little wierd (we balanced it with the included balance kit- MUCH better) but its almost SILENT! Seriously quiet! Nice blades too and is that nice halfway point between farm and modern. Put on the blades before putting it up! So glad we read reviews.

Looks great, sturdy, just the right amount of air for kids rooms, easy to manage (install & pulling of the fan/light cords,) quiet. The rooms are not very large, so we didn't think we would need 5 blades & this was perfect. I feel like this completed the space & ended up buying another for my other kid's room.

Funciona perfecto. Se siente bien el aire, es silencioso. Lo único que cambie fueron las cuerdas, porque las que vienen están pequeñas y él techo del departamento está alto. Además de las luces las cambié por luz blanca, porque la que trae es muy cálida. Me encantó y es hermoso. No se ni muy grande exagerado, ni muy pequeño. Me gusto mucho.

Una maravilla de abanico, es elegante y muy silencioso. No tuve problema alguno con la instalación, el manual muy claro y preciso. Viene con dos focos LED tipo vela en color cálido, pero la luz es demasiado amarilla, así que de "Cálido" solo tiene el nombre. Le puse otros focos LED que fueran de mi "Cálido" agrado. Fuera del detalle de los focos, es una compra exitosa, estoy fascinado con la potencia, la elegancia y el elegante diseño. 1000% recomendable.

Es tal cual la imagen. Muy bonito y de buena calidad. Después de un tiempo comienza a generar un ruido de golpeteo, el cual se quita con un ajuste de tornillos. Es relativamente silencioso, y bueno para espacios pequeños como un cuarto o un comedor

Es sólido, bien hecho, silencioso, la función reversible es un acierto. Aunque hay un par de detalles. La cadena de encendido de motor y de la luz es sorprendentemente corta, hay que usar una escalera para operarlas. No sirve para techos altos, solo para alturas no más allá de 1.80 o 2 mts. El fabricante debería proveer una cadena mucho más larga, ajustable. El otro detalle es que este tamaño de ventilador se promueve para cuartos medianos, lo cual no es cierto. Solo sirve para cuartos muy chicos. Sin embargo, es muy buena compra, porque el funcionamiento es excelente y a muy buen precio.

Es exacto como en la imagen, ideal para espacios pequeños como máximo para un área de 16 m2. Si genera mucho aire y el ruido es mínimo como cualquier abanico de techo. El diseño es muy moderno.
