Great quality
This hot glue gun is excellent and works flawlessly! It heats up quickly, is easy to handle, and gives a smooth, consistent flow of glue without leaking or making a mess. The design feels comfortable in hand, making crafting and DIY projects much easier. It works great for everything from small decorations to larger repair projects. The quality feels sturdy and reliable, and it has become one of my favorite crafting tools. Highly recommend for beginners and experienced crafters alike!

YES! ADHD review! Used daily 4.5 years! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I freaking ADHD abused this thing! I use it 1-6 hours a day 4- 7 days a week. Forgot to turn it off pretty often, sometimes for days. Occasionally it would it would get burnt build up that I could usually just squeeze out a few times I had to use a little paper clip to clean it. That’s what finally killed it. lol. The build up was just too thick. I had a feeling because I didn’t clean ut out as good the last time I didn’t it. It was dumb because it only took two minutes to clean. Oh well. It’s cordless but not battery operated so stay close to the outlet (that’s the only reason I didn’t lose it! I did tape it to my counter so it would slide off the charger easily, that was my only complaint. Leaving it on was my fault. 🤦♀️ I did a bunch of research in them and decided to go back to this one. It heats up fast, and last a couple minutes off the charger. Then I just got a FANCY cordless one gifted to me. I was pretty excited and I actually love it! It’s smooth and soft it’s not cheap feeling or made like a dumb power tool (i like power tools, but it’s a freaking glue gun those G-gun designers need to calm down. Who wants a glue gun that looks like it could build a house? Nobody! And making then partly pink is pathetic! They’re ruining the color pink for everyone! Anyways this new one looks and feels fancy! Haha. And it would be GREAT if I didnt lose it every 3 minutes and It shuts off so quickly on its own and I’m not a fan of that….. classic irony. So everytime I pick it up I have to turn it back on and wait. It does heat fast but it’s annoying. And I feel bad because it was a really nice thoughtful gift and I want to love it. But I use glue guns all the time for personal used to so I’m gonna keep that one in my artist hutch next to the old plugin one. That’s my glue story. I hope you get this and love it as much as I do!!! 🩷🩵♥️💛💚

Greatest glue gun ever
This cordless glue gun makes working on a project so much easier. The temperature remains hot for the time it says once it is removed from the stand. Glue flows continuously.

Work fast when it's off the base
I didn't realize this glue gun stops heating when you take it off the base. I thought it was a regular glue gun with a cord when purchased. I like that its cordless when working, but you really have to work fast because the heating element shuts off once you remove it from the base. Also frustrating when I'm using one hand to hold down my craft and having trouble popping it off the base with my other hand. In comparison to the regular corded glue guns, this one drips a bit of excess glue much faster than ones I've used in the past. If I had to buy again, I'd buy the regular fine tip corded glue gun. I like the cordless feature, but it has its pain points. The fine tip does a great job with glue control, I use it for gluing crystals & gems, so its helpful but I don't like that I have to work fast.

Precise gluing!
I have a lot of glue guns. This one is amazing. Small, controlled nozzle. And, you can either plug it in or take it off the plug (rechargeable battery)!! I didn't realize this when I bought it. I already used it for hours last night. Also highly recommend the glue stick that come with it.

Holds up to the demands of a ten-year-old pyromaniac shipwright
My son builds boats just to burn them. This glue gun has survived the process. Let me give you some context. My son has a hobby. He spends half a day — sometimes longer — meticulously constructing cardboard boats using an absolutely unhinged number of hot glue sticks. We're talking 50+ sticks per vessel. He is detail-oriented. He is committed. He is an artist. Then he takes the boat outside and lights it on fire. Every time. On purpose. That's the whole point. Our previous glue gun had seen things. It was so caked in glue, dirt, and what I can only assume was the residue of pure chaos that it had basically become a different object entirely. We retired it with honors and ordered this one — cordless this time, hoping that fewer cords meant fewer opportunities for destruction. Ten boats later. Hundreds of glue sticks. The thing still works great. The cordless feature has been a genuine upgrade for a kid who builds in the middle of nowhere and doesn't want to be tethered to an outlet while crafting his next maritime masterpiece. The fine tip is great for detail work, which he absolutely does — again, only to burn it. If your child also has a passion for naval architecture and arson, this glue gun can handle it. Five stars. No notes. Godspeed.

Easy to use
Very nice glue gun wish I would have bought it sooner but became aware of it looking at YouTube videos of other crafters.

Great for gift wrapping, though base is a little snug
For years - about a decade now - I've been using a large, industrial glue gun to wrap my gifts. That gets hot, and puts out plenty of glue, but the nozzle is wide, the gun is unwieldy, and the glue sticks pretty long, so I finally decided to get something a little more appropriate for the task. I was attracted to the CL-195F because of its corded/cordless design and its fine tip. Basically, it's about perfect for what I'm doing. It dispenses a much more reasonable quantity of glue, the narrow tip lets me add just enough in just the right places to make everything secure, and there's no loss in the quality of adhesion due to it being capable of working with high-temperature sticks. I'm sure it will be useful for many other things than wrapping gifts. I have three complaints: First, as others have said it fixes a little too tightly into its base, so that - without screwing the base down or adhering a weight to the bottom - I need two hands to remove the gun from it. If I use one hand, the base comes away with the gun. A heavier base, or slightly looser connection, would avoid this. I tried applying some silicon-based lubricant, but this only helped a very little. I tried disassembling the base and slightly widening the metal contact sleeves - this worked perfectly, but I'm not sure how comfortable I am with that being anything but snug, I don't want arcing in something that may remain on for as much as 30m unattended, so I tightened them again. I'll think about an alternate solution (e.g. magnetic contacts), but most likely I'll just velcro the base to a spare steel plate I have hanging around. Second, the wire position on the base is an unusual choice - it should face 180 degrees from its current location, towards the "tray" not towards the back, as most outlets will be positioned on the far side of the workspace, with the project being on the near side. As a half-solution, I'm going to try a right-angle plug (like ASIN B0C3H548SY); note, that cable isn't polarized and will require modification before connecting it up, but I'll confirm the polarity before doing so. Third, it is also the case that I think it may dispense a too little glue per trigger squeeze, but I suspect that is just a matter of technique, adjusting from my previous 60w construction gun. I would have purchased the larger model, but it didn't come with the fine tip. Unlike some other use cases, when wrapping gifts I only have the gun off its base for maybe 30s, so cooldown time isn't a problem for me. A word of warning - for some reason Amazon pairs this glue gun with a package of 1/2" glue sticks, not the 1/4" sticks that are compatible with it. At least, that is how it was when I bought it. Make sure you are getting the right sticks with the gun. If you are using this as a corded glue gun, it's a four-star unit, no doubt. If you are using it as a cordless unit, it needs a second revision. Still, I would generally recommend for most detail and wrapping uses.
