It's super lightweight and not too bulky, perfect to wear during southern Texas winters and chilly mornings/days in the mountains. My daughter was SO excited and loved the floral pattern - I was worried it would be too busy in person, but it is actually really lovely. I did buy an XL, my daughter generally wears a true L in girls sizes (10/12) but I find some of the desertcart items for children run about a size small. So glad I sized up! It allowed enough room she can layer a sweater or hoodie, but it's by no means huge on my daughter. The arm length is a tad long, but her fingers poke out the sleeves.
