Works incredibly well, not the cheapest product out there but my patio looks almost brand new. It’s easy to apply but just be wary of the clothes or footwear worn as it did bleach my top (old one because I knew I was going to get grafted) removed almost every trace of the lichen mold despite it not having been treated in a couple of years. Will 100% be buying again.

flabbergasted at the transformation of my patio, the colour has been completely restored - I never knew it was this colour! To add, the “before” pictures our patio is relatively clean, it had its post winter pressure wash around 4/5 weeks ago, so it’s not dirty. I sprayed it on with a pressure sprayer, I did just tip it in some areas and used a yard brush to scrub it in. Left it for 3/4 hours. I couldn’t cover the whole garden with one bottle so you’ll be able to notice the slabs that were less of a priority. Have ordered a second bottle to finish! Definitely recommend.

I recently used the Pro-Kleen Ultimate Black Spot Remover and would give it a solid 4 stars overall. It’s a powerful product that really delivers when it comes to tackling stubborn black spots and lichen on patios and paving. One of the biggest positives is how effective it is. After applying it with a sprayer and leaving it for a few hours, I could already see the black spots breaking down, and once rinsed, the difference was very noticeable. It genuinely brought tired paving back to life, which is exactly what you want from a product like this. It’s also straightforward to use—no complicated mixing required, just apply, leave, and rinse. The coverage is decent too, so a single container goes a long way on medium-sized areas. Overall, this is a very effective and easy-to-use black spot remover that saves a lot of time and effort compared to pressure washing alone. With a bit more gentleness on surrounding areas, it would easily be a 5-star product.

Excellent, does what it says within a few hours. I used a roller as i didnt have a spray, and it worked fine. Shame it doesn't come in 2.5 l for half the price as I only have a small patio.

I should have taken before and after pics! I followed the instructions and was so impressed with the results, old slabs will never be like new but this product brought them back to at least 98%, fantastic!!!!

Basically expensive bleach

Not going to lie but I bought this thinking it will never work but at least I can say I tried everything. I put it on with a pressure spray bottle and left it for 2 hours in the sun. Within this time all the black spouts had gone. Even the really stubborn old ones that pressure washing never touched. I'm really pleased with it. I had half a bottle left so put a second thin coat over my whole patio to see the effect. It made everything look brighter. I didn't have to pressure wash it off I just used my hose to spray it off the edge of the patio. The grass at the edge looks fine as I gave it an extra water to dilute it. Only negative is the fumes. It smells of really strong bleach and any splashes will sting your skin or bleach your clothes. The smell and fumes catch in your throat so be careful. Overall very happy with the results.

Initially it didn't work removing black spots. When using a sprayer bottle, there is simply not enough solution hitting the patio slab. I ended up applying much more of the treatment with a large paint brush, and then power blasting after 3 to 4 hours. A further two treatments were required and that removed the majority of the black spots. You get there in the end and the finish is good. You just end up using a lot more of the solution than the instructions state to get the job done.
