What size bulb do I need to buy as the original has broken

On the base of my bulb it says 220V (volt) and 25w (watt). It is an Edison screw base so you also need a bulb base size beginning with E for Edison. There are numerous E sizes. E12, E14 etc. the number tells you the diameter of the base - which incidentally is nowhere in the Amazon description. The circumference of the base of my bulb is 37.5mm which you divide by pye (3.14) to get the circumference. Answer 11.94mm, nearest whole number = 12. So you need to ensure you buy an E12, 25watt bulb that can utilise 220 volts. Lower voltage will probably give off insufficient heat to melt the wax. (Maths is my thing not physics!)

I ended up buying a 25w oven lamp and bulb converters, makes the bulb a little higher but works a treat.
