Aleppo is also finer, softer, less crunchy than crushed red pepper tends to be. It's a completely different seasoning and good for many things. I put it on eggs, avocado, pasta, in burritos, you name it. This "The Spice Way" bag is the best option for Aleppo pepper that I know of these days. I used to get it from the spice house, but their prices have skyrocketed. This product is fresh and brightly colored, perfect texture with good flavor and aroma.
