6-Speed Easy Storage Hand Mixer with 5 Attachments & Storage Case, Black

We received this BLACK+DECKER 6-Speed Hand Mixer with 5 Attachments & Storage Case, MX3200B a couple of days ago to replace a c. 40(!)-year-old General Electric Model D1M20 (Made in U.S.A and it still works after a fashion!). We replaced that old one because my wife said, "It's time." (But we're keeping the GE "just in case.") She has used this new B+D one twice now and she says that it works better than that old one ever did, even when it was new. The unit functions extremely well and just today, on her second use of it, she was able to make some of her absolutely delicious sugar-free coconut macaroons very quickly, much more quickly than with the old mixer. The adjustable speeds are very good and the motor appears to be well-made and powerful. The many attachments are a bonus and a real advantage. She never had so many beaters before. The beautiful case is "icing on the cake." (We've always kept that old GE mixer in its [now-ratty] original cardboard box.) Now WE won't get 40 years out of this hand mixer; we're pretty certain that neither of US will be around in 40 years. But it looks to be made very well and every function works perfectly. Its Eject button (something that not every hand mixer has - certainly her old one didn't have one) works easily and perfectly too. I believe that, given reasonable care, this unit will last for a very long time. Therefore, in both our opinions, at its very low price, this BLACK+DECKER 6-Speed Hand Mixer with 5 Attachments & Storage Case, MX3200B represents very good value for money and both my wife and I can very highly recommend it. This is a good starter mixer for me. I just moved and my old mixer is broken. I need extra help during this Holliday season for pancakes and baking. PROS It’s easy to clean It fits everywhere. I love it comes with a storage box. The stainless steel beaters are easy to remove but also attach good. It does come with 2 types of beaters and 1 whisk. It has a good and comfortable presentation. Ideal for regular home use (2-3 per week). Definitely not design for heavy loads. It’s for small cooking and baking. It has 6 different speeds. CONS It’s noisy. In the higher speeds it shakes a lot. It’s not ideally ergonomic. I will have to use a thick piece of cloth for my hands when I use it after speed 2 or after a few minutes.

Good product, I like it, I recommend it, it does its job.

This is my 3rd Black and Decker mixer and my least favorite of the 3 I have owned in the past. The other 2 lasted for many years. The Black and Decker brand mixer is sturdy and has excellent speed and multiple choices for speed. I don't care for the mixer blade release on this one, which is pushing down on the speed button, and I have accidently turned the mixer on a few times while trying to push the button to release the blades. This one did come with a nice storage case. The mixer is light weight and I purchased the black color. Overall it's a great mixer and good speed but I would prefer a separate button for the mixer blade release.

My grandmother's 30-40 yesr old handheld mixer finally died this is perfect and works with her whisks. Great value and comes with a case, I hardly ever go up past 3 but the turbo button is helpful. Stores well, the speed is adequate for the power. Ideas asks for smell: it smells like a new small appliance until christmas

I'm glad I waited again until it's on sale at $19.99! This is a good buy, and including a storage case that can be used for something else. I still have a 20+ yr-old B&D mixer that still works fine, but doesn't have dough hooks and a whisk. I recently started baking breads and I need the dough hooks. Bummer that the new attachments are not compatible with the old B&D mixer. The wire beaters pictured here on Amazon are not the same as what are in the box that I received. No biggie, but still false/careless advertising. I (tried) turned it on but haven't used this yet but I'm sure it works. My old mixer is 175 watts and has enough varying speeds. This new one is 250, and the electric cord is 5 ft. long! Per my title above, I have power drill, heater, etc. with the B&D/B+D name.

I'm impressed by the quality of the mixer. So glad it has a boost on it. Glad it has its own storage too. Mixing git a whole ton better with this mixer.

Edit: purchased the wire beaters they did not fit. Mixer works well, but I remain unhappy with website content responsibility. Since product works to specification, I’m keeping it and upgrading from 1 to 3. < > I purchased this for my son about 5 years, and he pulled it out for me to use when we made Christmas cookies, I love it and the wire beaters. Being in desperate need of a new mixer, I looked it up and everything showed "Professional-style wire beaters" so I ordered it. It came in a box the showed the regular metal beaters on it, and that was what was inside. B+D customer service was unable to help. I returned it using the "wrong item sent" field. I did not replace it, though for an additional cost I could have purchased the beaters separately.

we were looking to improve our baking skills and hence ordered this Black and Decker mixer for use in India. It comes with the step-down transformer for 110V. It worked fine for few (3) times and then suddenly stopped working. We had to finish our cake using Bosch drilling machine. Do not waste your money on this product.

Works very well.

This mixer has lots of power. Attachments are easy to install and to remove and clean. It is light and easy to handle. I had left my hand mixer in Florida by mistake and needed one at home. I like this one better than the other one. Very happy with this purchase.
