90 Days Probation Paperback – July 13, 2013

This is a book that I would recommend all to read. I gathered it was about an abusive relationship but it was far more than I expected. The signs were there but she never picked up on it. Sometimes trusting the wrong people can backfire on you. On top of the abuse, the main character was being taken advantage of by another person as well. These people didn't think that it was enough to physically and emotionally abuse her but they took it so far as to financially abuse her. Then to pimp her out was a trip in itself. It is sad that people can be so cruel and don't think there are consequences. It is an "eye opener" and all should read it.

When I ordered this book, I pre-judged by the title and thought it was some jailhouse stuff. It took a while for me to get around to reading it, but when I did, I was shocked. The story is a very real protrayal of domestic abuse and the title is actually very fitting. I cried while reading it. Probrably because I could relate way more to the story than I'd like to admit. It is hard to believe that there are way too many women who live this story and stories like it everyday - sad, but true. Hell, I had to check a few times and make sure I didn't write the story. LOL. If nothing else, I think that this story sheds like on the situation and for those who know about it firsthand, it lets them know they are not alone- and the danger is REAL if you dont get away! For those who think it could not happen to them, or cant understand how these women "let" this happen; this book gives you some insight into exactly how it could happen to you. These lunatics don't walk around with a sign that says " Hello, I'm______. I will torture and abuse you mentally, physically, financially and spiritually. I am a liar, cheater and a women-beater". No. Unfortunately, too many times we get that memo way after the fact. Anyway, I thought it was good. An honest look into this sick, twisted version of "love". Definitely worth the read.

The book was OK it needed to have more details even though it was only five chapter's I will read the whole book

This is a good story, I just hate weak and low self esteem woman who put up with this kind of mess. I would of like to have seen her stand up and take a stand and not let these people take her there. I would recommend this book, but understand that during this read you will be going "WTF" is wrong with this weak chic. Anyway somethings take time to learn, but they can be learned

To be quite honest, I didn't really have high hopes for this book, but the more I kept reading the more I liked the book and just couldn't put it down. I ended up staying up late to finish the whole book. I almost felt like Carmen was a friend of mine, whenever she made a bad choice, I would say to myself: "No! What is she thinking!" It was a little bit short, but I think it's worth the $2.99.

I think this is a great story. This subject should be addressed. You would be surprised on how many ladies who's story is simular.

The beginning of this book, about a young woman with a "too nice" complex, was choppy and seemed to rush, which almost caused me to not read it entirely. The topic of rising in the midst of domestic violence almost got lost within some parts of the book. But overall, it was a decent read.

This book was crazy, but I really enjoyed it. That Todd and Joy was something else, they had more game then the law allows, or was Carmen just weak minded? At some point you think what's love got to do with it. However overall this was a good read.
