This knife was delivered within just a few days to my house and comes in a nice quality cardboard box. It has a very beautiful dark brown wooden handle and has a damascus steel blade, which gives it a nice, sleek looking design. The best part of all? It is extremely sharp and cuts with ease through any type of food you may be preparing. This knife feels very light and nimble in my hand and can accomplish an array of kitchen tasks from paring to slicing to chopping and I am extremely pleased with the quality and affordability of this knife. I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes to cook and is looking for a very sharp knife to assist in their food preparation!

I purchased this knife for a vacation home that was lacking decent kitchen utensils. I was looking for an inexpensive knife that would have adequate performance. I was not disappointed. The knife is of excellent quality and is very solid. It is razor sharp and holds it’s edge well. It has a very nice weight to it and fits well in the hand. The blade’s curve is perfect for chopping and rocking to mince things. While it is not true Damascus steel, it’s etched design gives it the look of Damascus with the performance and stain/rust resistance of stainless steel. I really like the fit and finish on the knife and have decided to keep this for my own home use and order another one for the vacation home. Comes in a nice sturdy box that I will keep in the event that I need to travel with the knife, such as a camping trip.

Ordered as a stand-in while my Shun's are sent for sharpening.Sharp enough. Big enough. Nice curve to blade makes prep'ing easy. The only complaint - and it's hard to complain for a knife delivered next day for $8 - is the cap on the end of the handle isn't quite as comfortable in your palm as a rounded shape.

The media could not be loaded.  I was in the market for a kitchen knife but wasn't willing to shell out $100 for a Wusthof or a 'real Damascus steal' knife. What I have found is a very good knife at a great price point.Although this isn't a "true" Damascus steel knife, it is very beautiful, sharp right out of the box and functions perfectly for my at-home needs. The knife has a Damascus styling and pakkawood grip that feels comfortable in hand.I'd buy it again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good knife at a great price point.

very sharp we use to make sushi. so sharp we bought two kevlar gloves to protect our hands when using. this is an amazing and well made blade. you will be impressed

For the price, this is an incredible knife that is super sharp and did a great job in the kitchen for its first set of tasks. Made easy work of slicing and preparing meat and later chopping/dicing. The quality far exceeds the cost of the blade. Hopefully it holds up.

After reading the reviews I really believed that I would love this knife - and I really, really wanted to. For those giving it such high marks I can only guess that they weren’t actually cutting up vegetables unless maybe it was something relatively soft like celery. Everything I’ve tried to cut with it has been a struggle, even zucchini which aren’t all that hard. Oh, well.

I've been using it with ease and it has held its edge. I just want to keep this knife safe in my drawer by it self. It looks so nice. I am happy with my choice and I think others will be too!
