Nature's Way OsteoPrime Plus Calcium & Magnesium Tablets, 120 ct

I LOVE this product because it's packed with everything I need as a post-menopausal woman with osteoporosis. This formulation seems to have been put together with much thought scientifically and compassionately because it is the ONLY one I've found to date with the multitude & combination of minerals our aging or changing bodies require. Sadly, it gives me heartburn after about a week of use so I have to give myself a break from swallowing them every few weeks. Just a personal problem that I've been dealing with for years and no matter what I try, I'm only good for about 2-3 weeks of a steady diet taking these pills (many other products or foods, too). BUT... what a difference in my hair and nails!! So it must be working on my bones as well. I've researched MANY products on MANY sites for months and months and so far, this product is the best I've been able to find for my particular needs. I highly recommend it for anyone with issues that require the abundance of useful ingredients Osteoprime Plus contains.

This vitamin was recommended by my General Practitioner for my Osteopinnia. Taking this vitamin and changes in my exercising habits has helped keep it from worsening. Please consult your doctor and know that vitamins alone do not fix your bones. You must also create bone mass through weight-bearing exercises and "heavy" walking/hiking on uneven ground and stomping while you walk. The stomping "tells" your bones to create more bone mass. Just an FYI. The only thing I don't like about this supplement is that you must take four (4) large vitamins per day!

I started taking this product a year ago after reading the book Better Bones Better Body by Susan E. Brown. In her book she describes all of the key minerals needed to build healthy bones and sells her own supplements at a premium price. This product is much less expensive and has everything she suggested at the correct proportions. After one year of taking this supplement while also eating foods rich in the necessary nutrients, walking 2 miles a day and doing other moderate strength training such as push-ups, crunches and back extensions I am happy to say that at my recent bone DEXA scan showed that my bone density has improved by a significant 4% and my doctor was astounded. He said to keep taking this supplement and that the result I achieved is the same as if I was on bone building medications. I do recommend this product but I believe there is also a need for a change in lifestyle to accompany it's use so that the minerals will be absorbed well by the bones.

Wife takes this and her calcium levels went significantly higher, she had to back off on the dose. This product is a lot cheaper on line.

These are the equivalent of Osteoprime but much cheaper. They work well for increasing my dose of calcium as well as having other vitamins as part of the pills. Note, the recommended dose is 4 pills. I had a hard time with this so I have been taking 2 pills and am now taking 3. It may be that you will find you need to increase the number of pills slowly.

After reading reviews from others on how this product assisted in an increase in bone density i thought i would give it a try. I have been taking this supplement for over a year and my latest bone density scan, 2013, it was noted that my density had indeed improved! I went from a -2.4 to a -1.7 in my spine! This is the only thing I changed in my daily routine. Had already included yoga, treadmill, and weight resistant training and none changed my numbers until adding this supplement. I anxiously await the next scan to see if the numbers continue to improve.

Formulated by two Doctors and has many beneficial ingredients. My wife had a brush with cancer and one of the side effects of the medicine she's taking affects the bones. So this is a great product at a good price and so far her bone tests are all good. She only takes one a day so it is a great value as well!

When I went off HRT (I had a total hysterectomy in 1983) over a year ago, my doctor recommended this product to help ensure strong bones. Plain calcium was not going to be enough to combat bone loss since the body needs estrogen to use and process the calcium and I no longer produce estrogen. I have been very pleased with the results of Osteo Prime Plus. I had a very good bone density test outcome a month ago and my finger nails have never looked so good! I am on the automatic delivery system. I like it because I don't have to remember to order the supplement, it saves me money and I can customize when I know I will be gone for an extended period.
