I was initially impressed with the concept and the ease of installation of the AlloyGators. However, I have encountered a recurring issue that I feel compelled to bring to your attention. The protective strips frequently come off the tires, often within a short period of driving. This not only defeats the purpose of the protection but also results in additional damage to the alloys and the alloygator during the removal process.Despite following the installation guidelines meticulously, the problem persists. As a member of a passionate car community, the protection and aesthetic maintenance of our vehicles are of utmost importance. I believe that many within our group, who are potential customers, would benefit from a resolution to this issue.Could you please provide any advice or solutions to prevent the AlloyGators from coming off regularly? Additionally, if there are any specific installation tips or recommended practices that might help in ensuring a more secure fit, I would greatly appreciate it.Thank you for your attention to this matter. colour varied in every picture of the product thought it was going to be similar to my car colour ( ultra violet purple) a vibrant almost electric / neon dark purple colour but its actually matt finish metallic pale purple. The professional fitter had no trouble with the centurion tyre on the 19 " rims but through no fault of his good efforts it wasn't as easy or secure with the near -side of the car with Pirellis and Michelins. Also a good tip is to get a professional fitter as I did. Otherwise you must super glue the clips in place onto the strips keep offering them up until you get it measured correctly. Deflate your tyres to allow for the insertion of the clips into tyre and rim. too fiddly to do on your own. First idiot pushing me into gutter on narrow trail the gaitors came adrift where I hit the gulley. but they did their job and stopped my rims from the impact.

They state u can fit these yourself, not convinced.I bought a set and had them put on my alloys, my local loyal tyre fitters had problemsBut got them on ok, did a good job till I mangled the rear passenger side one on a high kerb.If I had not had this on there would have been a very expensive repair to the alloy as they are split rims. Bought this one same as the others and had a lot of trouble finding a garage who was prepared to fit it. When I did I watched it being fitted. Took 40 minuets and the guy obviously knew what he was doing. There’s quite a bit to it and it can pop out when you fill the tyre with air.Saying all that would I but this product again. Defo yes saved me a fortune in repairs.

There was a problem with the rims they dud not fit my alloys /tyre combination after wrongly assuming I could not get a refund the company kindly refunded me as it seemed my kit was lacking a gauge for checking suitability of gators for my wheel/tyre combination thankyou Alloy Gators for being kind enough to fully refund me

Following an interaction with the nearside front alloy and a kerb, finding this product was great!!! Why oh why hadn’t I heard of them before?Easy to fit, looks great and provides great protection for my alloys.Due to driving an automatic vehicle it was easier to take each wheel off to both clean and fit the protective inserts. Took about an hour and I was getting faster by the wheel.Really impressed.

Pour insérer les AlloyGator sans problème, mettre un peu de WD40 sur le pourtour de la jante et le pneu et ensuite insérer les AlloyGator avec une massette en plastic caoutchouteuse ! Super résultat ! Bonne qualité.

I have this product on two of my automobiles and just replaced tires on one, It is difficult, if not impossible to reuse them again, so I purchased another set and will install them myself.
