I watched a yt video on how to install a while back, but it isn’t needed. First time racking a server couldn’t have gone smoother!

The rails arrived very quickly and works as intended! Seller could do more for packaging, however, as I feel it could’ve been damaged very easily with the arrangement they had. Luckily that wasn’t the case, so my experience was satisfactory.

Works great with an r720

Dell really knows how to make things simple with their products. Takes less than 10 minutes to install your server with these and no tools required. They easily adjust to the depth of your rails and snap in place. From there it's as simple and sliding them out and gently dropping the server into the rails and your are golden.

They arrived unusable - the left rail had been jammed shut and i had to bang on it with a hammer and screwdriver to free the inner rail, but even then i had to spray lots of wd-40 in the bearings for it to operate properly. The right rail has a tab on the end that had been bent closed, requiring me to bend it back into position with some pliers. After fixing them they work great, but i was a bit irritated.

Fit into my rack just fine, and my Dell R720 slotted right in. Well packaged and shipped fast. Couldn't ask for more.

These rails also work with the R720XD just fine, even though not listed in the spec on Amazon. I know they won't fit my old 2950 rails. Just different enough, thus causing me to try these out. They lock into the Square Hole EIA racks just as the older versions did, and are easy to align front to back.

What I loved: These rails fit perfectly on my Dell PowerEdge server — no wobble, no forcing, no swearing required. Installation was quick and straightforward, and the sliding mechanism is smooth and stable. They feel solid and handle the weight of the server without flexing, which is exactly what you want when you’re pulling a 20+ kg beast in and out of your rack. Great build quality, proper alignment with Dell chassis screw points, and they make maintenance so much easier. My back appreciates these rails more than I expected. What made me sigh loudly: Only that I didn’t buy them sooner. I’ve spent years awkwardly wrestling servers into place like a caveman. Should you buy it? Absolutely. If you have a PowerEdge and want proper, stable rack mounting with smooth extension, these rails do the job perfectly.

No me gusto el servidor no trajo los Caddys dummy prometia 12 y no trajoi ninguno , salio mas caro comprar los dummy caddy que el mismop server deberia poner qu eno los tiene y ser mas honesto, el server por otro lado esta en muy buenas condiciones 9 de 10.
