I purchased this watch in the first week of January 2020 and using it since then. SEIKO 5 Sports Automatic SRPD59K1 is a nicely made watch. I do have some affinity to orange dial automatic Seiko watch and this is a watch I love a lot. Nice finish as usual from Seiko. Polished high grade stainless steel case with see through exhibition case back which I like a lot. A reminiscent of Seiko SKX line this watch comes with hand wind feature and does hack which were missing in the SKX series. Can be worn with formal and in casual occasion as I am using it in both occasions. Strap can be changed very easily as it has access through the drilled lug. Great lume on the markers and hands. Bezel is not lumed. Great power reserve of about 40 hours. 100 meter Water resist. Hardlex mineral. Came in original Seiko box with stamped Seiko India Warranty card and all papers. The bracelet is not up to the mark so changed to a grey-beige Nato strap which looks great and planning to add a Stainless steel mesh type bracelet later on. The most pleasing part is the price of the watch which is very reasonable when compared to international market price. 5 star out of 5.

Just go for it I purchase it for 22k in Aug 24 it’s been 2 yrs and the watch is too good if you are planning to buy your first automatic watch I think this watch it’s best choice it’s worth every money you are spending after using it for 2 years there are not many scratches on the watch some minor on the belt but those are not visible and on the dial there are no scratches at all and I use this watch almost daily

The watch is really nice to wear. Looks much better in reality than in pictures. Photos don't do justice. The weight, the finish, the material. Everything is top notch. Thanks to the seller Authenticwatchworld for providing an authentic piece and on time.

Nothing to say much about it as this is more than premium, best sunburst dial, best solid steel (not hollow). Very happy with the automatic movement...... ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Overall nice watch. A few +ve and -ve things here and there, but overall its ok. Using it since last 3 months, it gets 15-20 seconds increment every 24 hrs but that's ok. Gets automatically winded so didn't use manual winding as much. Slightly thicker, but I got used to it. And yeahh ORANGE colour is a very much attention magnet 😆 For a comparison my previous daily use watch is there.

Ottimo acquisto. La marca non ha bisogno di presentazioni, seiko è una garanzia. Questo prodotto è una bellissima evoluzione della linea sport5, con il quale seiko apporta delle migliorie estetiche e meccaniche non da poco. La cassa è la celeberrima slim case di derivazione skx, iconica ed affascinante. Il movimento, finalmente, utilizzando il 4r36 viene aggiornato anche in questa linea, apportando il fermo macchina (hack dei secondi) e la ricarica manuale. La corona a pressione può far storcere il naso ai più, ma non lo trovo un malus in quanto parliamo di un nuovo modello di seiko sport non di un nuovo skx di declinazione diver duro e puro. Lo sport 5 è un orologio everyday, come lo è sempre stato d'altronde, e puntare sul restyling della cassa e del movimento la ritengo una mossa vincente. Il quadrante del segnatempo in mio possesso è l'orange, il cosiddetto Nemo, caratterizzato da una lavorazione che regala splendidi riflessi e giochi di luce. Vetro hardlex e chiusura con serraggio a vite con meccanismo a vista. Il logo seiko sul quadrante è in rilievo e gli indici sono applicati non stampati. La luminescenza è ottima. La cassa inoltre è forata in corrispondenza delle anse da 22mm così da risultare molto pratica per il cambio cinturino. Il bracciale è un oyster a maglie piene con finali vuoti ma ben fatti. La clasp è la classica seiko ma presenta oltre alla chiusura di sicurezza i pulsanti per lo sgancio. Per il prezzo super scontato di amazon al quale l'ho preso lo ritengo un ottimo affare, forse il prezzo di listino potrebbe non giustificarne l'acquisto ma approfittando delle offerte amazon si riesce a portare al polso un ottimo segnatempo di una casa affidabile e storica. Un orologio consigliato a tutti, dall'estetica accattivante che non può lasciare indifferenti né gli appassionati di orologeria né chi sta muovendo i primi passi in questo fantastico mondo. This is the 4th Seiko I own along with a Kinetic SQ100, Monster Gen 1 and King Samurai and I really like it. I've never owned an SKX so I wasn't going to compare but they are two different watches. SKX is a divers watch and the 5 Sports is more a fashion piece. End of. The orange sport is a very nice piece. The photos don't do it justice, the dial really 'pops' in the light and there is this metallic orange on the bezel markers that really compliment the dial. The uni-directional bezel is lovely and firm on the turn and absolutely zero play. The crystal is Hardlex (Seiko's own) and I'm not bothered it isn't sapphire. My 8 year old Monster has Hardlex and there isn't a scratch on it and that watch has taken bashing. The applied indices and logo look really good and match really well with the gold hour and minute hands. However, I fully expect the bezel to scratch easily as I believe it's aluminium and it's a soft metal. Lume is typical Seiko which means it's brilliant. The overall readability and legibility is fantastic, very easy to read. Build quality is typical Seiko in that for every good there is probably a not-so-good! The chapter ring and bezel line up perfectly, dial is clean and there are no scratches or marks anywhere. The only real downside is the bracelet which I was expecting to be like my Monster and Samurai but it's cheaper and quite squeaky. I'll be changing to a NATO strap when I can because the squeak is very annoying. That isn't to say it's not comfy, it's very comfy on the wrist and with 4 levels of micro adjustment you can get the perfect fit. Inside is the 4R36 (same as the 4R35 in my King Samurai but has day/date) so it isn't amazing but it's good enough. Hacking and handing winding are doable if those things are important to you. Overall, I really like it and will probably daily drive this as much as I can. I'll definitely be buying more of the 5 Sports to expand the collection. *Update - switched to a nato strap. Looks epic*
