Another revised review about this food. I still have concerns about the chicken fat in this food. I continue to be educated about food allergies by my local vets. They say that chicken fat is okay for allergic cats if it is hydrolyzed chicken fat. This food does not say hydrolyzed. Although it seems a quality food, I will not reorder for this particular animal. Hydrolizing breaks proteins down so small that the body does not recognize it as chicken. This is apparently what they do to proteins in allergy foods from your vets. Venison, Duck, and Lamb have all been recommended because they are uncommon proteins that your pet may yet have not developed allergies to. I have bought Orijen foods many times through the years. It is an excellent quality, clean food and the cats love all of flavors. For my cat with allergies I have just ordered my second bag of "6 Fish Cat & Kitten Dry Cat Food" by Orijen. The ingredients list is amazing. You'll appreciate it if you're a fisherman. No chicken, no allergy problems and both cats love it. Small size kibble so easy to chew.

My cats really liked the first bag of the venison flavor and I've noticed a difference in how silky their fur is. It also seems to be digested more efficiently than other foods I've tried with them and doesn't upset my younger cat's more sensitive stomach. I would give it five stars but both cats are refusing to eat bag 2; one cat will eat literally anything so I'm leaning toward there maybe being an issue with the food. Until I find out otherwise, I can only assume there may be a quality/consistency control issue. I've never had this happen before and am surprised and disappointed for it to happen with such an expensive brand!

my cat loves the dry but I have 24 little pouches he will not touch.

I have one cat who has fish and grain allergies and she's not been throwing up half her meals like she was on their previous food. My other cat seems to really love it as well. She's also puking less (she's a notorious fast eating vomit comet) . I like that this food doesn't have the stink factor some cat foods do. It just has a slightly meaty aroma. I joked that it smelled good enough that I might try it. The kibble is a perfect size and works well with the slow feed bowls I use. I like that the bag has a resealable zip strip to keep the food fresh. The best thing is that this food is almost $10 cheaper than what I was feeding before without sacrificing good nutrition for my girls. So glad I opted to give this food a try!

Yes, I have 5 cats. Yes, only two like it. However, the cat that has major food allergies and is so picky about his food is absolutely obsessed with this brand, this flavor. My boy Ramu is so difficult because of his allergies I did go looking for a better deal.. I did find another brand twice as much food, same grain free , venison protein... I ordered it... Ramu didn't like it... Other cats did.. nope not Ramu... So, I reordered this brand... When I showed him the bag, that boy couldn't get to his bowl fast enough. He kept nudging my arm while I was trying to open the bag... So impatient. And when it comes to Ramu, this is WINNER, WINNER, VENISON DINNER. The other four cats are happy with their other brand of grain free food. Oh the joys of being a Cat 🐈😺🐈 Mom servant.

this is a GREAT suppliment for your cat's regular food regimen. i've been informed cats need SOME grain, but i find that high quality grain free super meat type foods to make my cats super healthy when given to them in the rotation. coats get REAL fluffy and sleek. cats get real happy and relaxed. been ordering bags of this for the last year or two, highly recommend.

Well, we just started integrating it, switching my 1 year old from kitten food to adult food. She...and the other cat that steals her food, love it. It's very hard to crunch and she's had some difficulty with that. She's starting to fill out some now and looking great. I'm hoping this is healthy and good for her.

カナ◯◯、アカ◯パシフ◯◯、クプ◯◯、で下痢が続き、食物アレルギーの疑いで、アレルギーが出にくいとネットに出てた鹿肉のフードを探していてこちらを見つけました。口コミで食べないと結構書いてあったのですが、かなり食いしん坊の子なため、大丈夫だろぉ～と楽観視して注文しました。肝心の下痢は切り替え１日目で初めて見たかな！！と思われるかりんとううん◯をして、効果てきめんで嬉しすぎたのですが、なんと二回目にして残してしまいました。あんなにがつがつ食べる子なのに、初めて残しました。かなりびっくりな反面、口コミは本当だったのかと思いました。しかしながら、鹿肉は合ってるかもなので、なんとか継続して様子を見たいと思います。
