Best fragrance-free shampoo that also removes environmental fragrances from hair :-)
I have been using this shampoo for several years now, and it's become my go-to for washing every 4 to 5 days. It lathers nicely in my moderately-hard water (54 ppm) and rinses out easily. Some users have mentioned that it dries their hair but I've found the opposite: It actually dries it less than most other fragrance-free shampoos I have tried. It's really valuable because it's the only shampoo that really removes environmental fragrances from my hair. I'm mega-sensitive to fragrance but sometimes I am somewhere that either uses those awful HVAC scents or I am in a room with people who use fragrance or scented laundry products (like the 1-hour dance recital I attended this weekend, I came out smelling like a Bed Bath & Beyond, ugh). This is the only shampoo that can successfully get my hair back to NOT smelling like whatever scents I had to endure being around. I assume that it is the vinegar in it that does the trick. :-)

One of my favorite shampoos!
This is a great shampoo for people with scalp issues such as seborrheic dermatitis or general sensitivity. I use this one as my daily shampoo whenever I do not require to use a medicated one, I also found that It mixes nicely with a few drops of rosemary and tea tree oil for some added scent and benefits. I have had no reactions to this, other than positive ones of course. It is easy to apply and use and makes my hair thin fine hair feel clean, soft and shiny. Highly recommend for the ones who love and requires clean simple products.

Fragrance free option that cleans hair decently and makes it shine
I bought this and the conditioner. I will say that if you buy the conditioner be forewarned that the bottle is shipped with the cap loose so it will leak. That happened for another purchaser and for me. When I went to check the conditioner cap it was very loose. I just re-tightened it. The shampoo cleaned pretty thoroughly. No fragrance at all. It lathers really well, but there are surfectants (albeit very mild) in this so I wasnt surprised. I would advised rinsing your hair out thoroughly. The conditioner I am still trying to decide about. I usually use allot of conditioner because my hair is curly and gets pretty dry so the quantity on this is really different for me. It's nice and light. There is a bit of fragrance but it basically evaporates once you squish it into your hair. I did rinse it out, but scrunched some into my damp hair as a leave in after I scrunched it with my jersey towel. This is light enough that it will function as a leave in as well, I think. I gave moisturizer three stars since it's just hard to know after one use for this conditioner. It may need to be used for shower use AND leave in, depending on your hair needs. My hair, so far, looks REALLY shiny. It's about 80 percent dry as I write this. My hair also feels lighter, like what I've been using until now isnt really cleaning my hair very well. My curls are defined, which is nice. I didnt have to use a lot of product like I usually use. I will need to use more than once in order to determine if it is a good fit, but first impression is good. DEFINITELY FRAGRANCE FREE in case anyone is wondering.

Do you have fine, oily hair? You need this ASAP!
I am on my second bottle of this shampoo, and let me tell you, I am happy and impressed. I have fine, straight hair (and LOTS of it) that is genetically oily by the end of the day at the roots only. I struggled with this issue my whole life and have always I really dislike the theory that "washing your hair everyday is so bad for you and produces more oil". The fact is, we all have different hair types and genes that play into your scalp health. As my fellow fine-haired friends know, if the look of your greasy roots doesn't bother you, the smell of your scalp (when really greasy) will. Those are just facts. Dry shampoo is just a band-aid over a gushing wound. Now I have spent my whole life chasing the high of clean, shiny hair. I used to worship the Herbal Essence Drama Clean shampoo and put up with the rashes that I got from the sulfates, fragrance, and fake color dyes. Don't get me wrong- I'm thankful for even having an option of a shampoo that is not "creamy" and "hydrating". However, Herbal Essence discontinued that shampoo, and I knew I had to find an alternative. So here I am, doing my research and looking for something without sulfates (which I am not demonizing- they just make me rashy) and without fragrance. Enter this shampoo..... Here is why I love it... - rinses clean out my hair - makes my hair shiny as glass - doesn't irritate my skin or scalp (I use the fragrance-free version) - last a long time (has good value for the price) - does what it says Now, switching over to sulfate-free shampoo has a trick to it (I read this on the internet and it has helped). Wet your hair first and add a little shampoo --> lather that up and if you have trouble, just keep adding water and watch the bubbles happen --> rinse your hair --> repeat! I used to always think the double shampoo is pointless but I guess the first time is to really remove the impurities and grease and the second to actually clean your hair. I would also like to point out 1 additional things to be transparent. I realized that fine, oily hair has another helper....a water softener (NOT filter). Hard water leaves a film on hair and skin and causes products not to foam. Without it, my hair is super oily on my scalp and dry and frizzy on my ends.....fun! Do yourself a favor and invest in one. I live in an apartment and bought a shower-attachable one and it is a life changer. Hope this was helpful!

I built up an allergy of some sort of certain ingredients found in most shampoos (ie. Head & Shoulders, Pantene, Dove, etc.). Anytime I washed out those shampoos, the back of my scalp would itch and sting! I also had a good amount of dandruff which has made me self-conscious whenever I wear dark colours or had dark bedsheets. I swapped over to OGX coconut shampoo + conditioner in late 2020, and though at first I felt like they were great, I had a rash at the back of the neck by the hairline a week after using it about a month ago? It happened before with previous shampoos as well, so, safe to say that wasn't fun, lol. I've been on the hunt for a SLS + parabens + fragrance free shampoo since then, and finally bit the bullet on buying this! It really is unscented like everyone else says, and yes it can dry out your hair but I've been ok with using a conditioner after and my hair turning out alright. I have to pair this with an anti-dandruff shampoo I bought at the same time and wow: no stinging, no itching, and clean hair. Very, VERY happy and I'm so glad I've found something that works for me. Genuinely hope this product doesn't go away because I'll have to stock up. I don't mind paying a little more $$$ than generic market shampoos as long as it feels good and works well for me.

Good shampoo—truly fragrance-free, and cleans well. Maybe too well. I find the shampoo to be a bit harsh. My hair has become noticeably less soft and more tangled. (I have long, dark brown, medium, wavy, untreated hair) My scalp, which is sensitive, developed seborrheic dermatitis the day after I started using it. Which is very sad, since I really wanted this to work. Oh well. I blame my sensitive scalp. This is a quality product, I just wish I have less sensitive skin.

I really like this shampoo, as I have a itchy very sensitive scalp. No perfume and really like it. Doesn't irritate my sensitive scalp. Also my scalp is oily doesn't get oily as fast
