Worked great on our RAV4! Tent, Coleman stove, two sleeping bags, and clothes inside packing cubes. All loaded inside two 115 L Duffel bags. Each put in large plastic bags for xtra dryness. With a tarp covering both inside the roof bag. I purchased these green two 2 inch wide tie down straps for the best security. Solid as a rock!! Don’t over tighten the attached bag straps to the rack like I 1st did. The strap tore a little. Use them only for stability. HEY, 700 miles to the Sierras and back. Contending with an hour or so of Palmdale/Mojave winds all four attached straps remained strong!! The bag is made of sturdy materials. I could see this bag lasting me several trips or more. Don’t forget to tuck the straps so they don’t flap! They sound scary. Great product.

This does not look like picture, but it work as it should and I am happy with my purchase. I looked at reviews and I put all my things inside large individual trash bags before putting inside this, I didn't have water leak when driving through rain. Reviews said to not trust straps so I did as suggested and used two straps in an X as to not worry about anything. I put this bad into a roof rack so I wouldn't scratch the top of my van. I would still buy this again to keep water off my luggage, keep it together, and water tight. I did NOT go through much rain so can't tell you how water tight it was. Didn't have that problem and I am very happy with this bag.

This bag was the perfect size for our needs. Bought the smaller 12 cubic foot size and it held 6 folding camp chairs, a blanket and 4 giant beach towels with room for more. The zipper is a challenge on the corners but that should be expected in a roof storage bag. Very secure straps and nice that you have the optional clips for a vehicle with no roof rack if needed. The price was very economical as well. Would recommend.

This cargo bag did exactly what we needed it to. Needed additional space for a 10hr drive as we moved and this cargo bag did trick. QUALITY: It feels a bit flimsy, the zippers could be beefier, but it overall held up great. The straps/buckles are solid, the stitching all appears to be well done & durable. It is NOT 100% WATERPROOF though. I had to pack this the day before our drive, and it unfortunately rained that day. Sitting stationary in the rain for a solid 14hrs and it did let some water in, but not a lot at all. Our stuff was packed in hard shelled suitcases & some duffles inside of garbage bags, so everything was fine. Plan on doing some extra waterproofing yourself. INSTALLATION: Seriously couldn’t be easier. We don’t have cross bars, only rails, and securing it was no problem at all. After doing some test drives I have 0 concerns about it being safe. Very satisfied here. STORAGE: • 1 L suitcase • 1 M suitcase • 2 carryons • 2 duffles • 2 sets of 15-20 shirts on hangers in bags Probably could’ve fit more soft items, but the suitcases made zipping it a bit tight. USE: This was on our roof for 12+hrs in the rain BEFORE our 10hr drive. It was sturdy, secure, SURPRISINGLY QUIET, and as I mentioned above waterproof enough to not worry, but not 100%

I have a Chrysler Pacifica. 1st I had a feeling but didn’t realize I had roof rails. Came in very handy to strap it down. 3 straps on each side just hook around once loaded and tighten. It was really easy. There were straps to take it through the door but that was so simple. The bag fit right between the rails so it was perfect. It for a Lot! 2 stroller (one larger than the other, scooters, beach blankets, bags of towels, pillows, kites, and bedding all went in there. I only had to put the coolers and suitcases in my car. I wish I bought it sooner really save so much room on the floor. Id say the only drawback is depending on size of car you need a ladder/step to get on the roof to make sure it’s secure and zipped up. Lesson learned so on packup day I zipped it almost all the way up then stuffed it. I used a step ladder from our vacation spot and did it all on my own. Not like that a big deal but it is when planning or packing alone. It can be loaded with one person but definitely helps so have someone Tony get up there to help. Either way it works. Other nice thing the material. Lots of other brands had a vinyl exterior. This one is like a canvas bag with waterproof inside. No rips from any debris hitting and even when we tried to go in the garage and couldn’t make it, it didn’t rip or damage anything. Just took tall to clear. I really do like it and when we came Home it folded up (like a fitted sheet) and went back into the bag. Very handy.

We used this for a cross-country trip, and I liked how we could jam a bunch of things like sleepting bags, a tent, bags of items and such there and free up space in the SUV. It definitely works better if you have smaller, soft items that let you fill spaces up and make as much of a slope on the top front as possible as opposed to having fewer, larger items. We encountered three rainstorms during the trip, two of them prolonged and heavy, and after the first one we learned everything was wet on the bottom but not elsewhere. We then used a tarp on the inside bottom and wrapped it over the items, which kept our things dry for a later rainstorm, but as you see from the picture this is what it looked like on the inside bottom of the carrier after the last storm, so water definitely gets in somehow. Also note how the front flap seam ripped in the middle about halfway through the trip; I wish they had the strong velcro on that front flap part like they do on the sides and back of the bag to keep it from being forced up by the wind resistance while driving. (wet) Bottom line: for the price and for someone who only needs the extra carrier space for occasional trips I think it works fine as long as you protect items inside with a tarp or have things in plastic bags. If you're going to be using it a lot I'd look for another soft carrier that's sturdier or spend the extra for a hard case, which would also be easier to access than the soft cases where you have to undo multiple straps and then unzip it to get items.

Ok, so the listing makes a big deal about how you don’t need a roof rack to use this #%*! thing. I get it and a week before camping I go to set it up so I’m not scrambling to figure it out the night before. It comes with these hooks that you attach to the car when you don’t have a roof rack BUT you need to be able to peel back your door insulation to use the thing!! My car sure doesn’t work that way so I’m out of luck!! Just look at my video to see what I’m talking about. I’m so aggravated that the company assumes everyone’s car has removable insulation. Thankfully I’ve got a Thule rack, but I’ve got to make a three hour round trip to my uncle so he can put the thing on. ARGH!!

Update: Bag worked great for an 8hr car ride. Mostly wind and light rain. The extra ratchet straps gave me piece of mind. The only drawback is the AWFUL name brand printed on the side. It looks like total crap. Still keeping my review at 5 stars. So far this thing is awesome. A few things: I have only 2 bars running front to back on each side of my roof. VW Atlas. Put the zippered portion facing the rear of the vehicle. If you have someone to help, partially pack the bag before putting it on. That keeps everything pretty square. Use the mat underneath the bag to keep from scratching your vehicle. I used 2 extra ratchet straps crossed in an X pattern over the top just to play it safe. I purchased soft loops to attach my ratchet straps to my roof racks and covers for the ratchet mechanisms so they wouldn't dig into the storage bag. Other than that it's self explanitory. If this bag holds up it is definitely worth it!! I'm calling 5 stars for now!

I’m really impressed with this product! It offers plenty of space to store everything I need, and the material is incredibly durable and waterproof, which makes it perfect for outdoor use. Additionally, it’s very easy to fold up and store when not in use, which is a huge plus. Overall, it’s a reliable and convenient product that I’d highly recommend!
