We gave these as gifts years ago. My friend from college (40 years ago), managed to break a piece on Her's. And needed a new one. (Don't think the product failed, think she was not using it as designed.)We immediately ordered these. Shipped fast. Arrived as expected. Packaged well. She is happy as a clam.We also have given these as gifts over the years, well received.

My mom had a set like these and after years of use, one broke and she was upset because she couldn't open jars. Amazon to the rescue! She was delighted when she received them from Amazon!

Bought for older relative who had broken wrist. Comes with two pieces. One is a single piece, it has a good grip and is solid and sturdy. But the round part only fits small twist caps. Fine if grandma needs to open a lot of brewskees. Doesn’t fit things like Ensure. The other side works well to pop caps on pills , but not on screw on type.The other tool is more scissor like. Allows for bigger caps but bit awkward. Has a metal bottle opener , not used much nowadays. Sturdy and durable. Just think what exactly you need it for before you buy.

I wish they were metal. For now they do help me open jars. The plastic won't last long.

I wish that I could purchase the lid opener by itself. I don’t need a bottle opener as I already have a couple of them would be nice to be able to buy them singly. That lid remover is almost perfect. If the lid is really small it’s hard to open if you could open it at all but it’s so easy on the hands unscrew stuff I keep on in my car and one in the house

The two tools are both made of cheap plastic and some cheap looking metal. Some of the functions are duplicated between the two, if that matters. But they don't come with instructions and the jar opening function doesn't work at all: the plastic is slippery and won't grip a medium sized jar top and thus won't open it. It slips and just spins around the jar top. After that failure and not finding any other obvious immediate uses, I gave up and decided to return mine.Also, if the primary tool actually worked, they should just include two instead of a partial version of the first one. It's ridiculous.

First off the smaller one of the items works well enough with soda bottles and water bottles IF you have enough hand strength to press the silicone lined opening down onto the lid you're trying to open. The larger item broke at the hinge on me the very first time I went to use it (opening a can of rubber cement). If you'r considering buying this do yourself a favor and buy one of the ones that has like 4 different size grips without a hinge instead. (you can find them here on Amazon either by themselves or with a tool like the smaller one in this set)
