I'm glad there is a series of these because I found it to be quite fun to put together. I've grown to categorize these types of assembly kits by what you need to do to assemble it. This one fits into my "mini miniature" kit because it is very small, but I've come to like these small kits better in a large part because they look so cool when they're done. Now I didn't assemble this whole kit, meaning I left out a few pieces that didn't look like much fun to assemble, and I took a lot of liberties along the way. That's why these kits are fun! Much of the build concentrates on the building structures, and I live that aspect a lot. The negative caveat to that some of the pieces are so tiny, that that is where the majority of the challenge comes from. I actually ordered two of these (different styles) on Prime Day because they were a good price. The other one doesn't look as fun because it has a lot of trees, but I think it's going to look epic when it's done.

These are really fun and absolutely adorable. They make fun gifts too. Best of both worlds, you get to do a fun DIY then, impress your friend with an adorable gift you made for them. Love these and I think they might be a good piece for beginners to try their hands on. Frustration is pretty low with these pieces and it teaches you to make your own items as well as hook up the lights etc.

Wonderful little kit, but my god, it is SO SMALL. I do a *lot* of these miniature kits, and thought, hey, I'm ready for a challenge. Let's do a smaller scale! But boy howdy, I did not know what I was getting into. The tin is basically a little bigger than an Altoids tin (which is fine), the materials provided are fairly good quality (that's great), the tiny animals are beyond adorable (yay). But the problem is in that the kit packs in SO many details that it becomes jammed with items about the size of your pinky nail or smaller. Which leads me to the difficulty of the construction: Again, I do a lot of these kits, and even I found it incredibly challenging. Working with pieces of wire that are 1cm long and require that I use two tweezers at once was bananas. Did I enjoy it? Sure, it was a good challenge and it IS super cute. Would I do it again? Honestly, no. This is not a scale I would revisit. Age/experience appropriateness: This is NOT a casual kit. I absolutely do not recommend this for young kids nor for inexperienced miniature crafters.

This little thing was a BEAST and I loved every second. I’ve seen some describe miniatures as meditative - WRONG. or at least, not for me. This thing was hard. I’m good with my hands, artistically inclined, and this little sucker took me like 12 hours start to finish. It is so so cute and intricate, and I had a total blast. The hours of fun and the finished product are worth every penny. However, it is fricking tiny. The little kitchen table you see? That’s made with the backing from an earring - if that helps you with scale. Tiny!! I struggled honestly, but again, worth it in the end, and I feel more accomplished than when I managed to find a new job after being laid off in the middle of this pandemic. Tips: I live in the US. it DID come with a battery and glue. However, the glue takes a while to dry and it’s stringy, so half way through I switched to superglue and it made my life way easier. So I would grab some super glue and just be careful because I think we all learned a valuable lesson from Gorilla Glue Girl.

I've already gotten 2 that are seasonal themed summer and spring. I want a fall and winter one. For some reason I can't find the fall one anymore. Also this one is a bit smaller than the 2 previous ones I got.

I've attached some pics of what you get and my version of the finished product. I made some changes here and there. I tried to stick to the instructions 100% and I recommend you do that if it's your first small craft. First off to have a good craft session I recommend: Good lighting, sharp small scissors, patience, a white background paper or something so you don't lose anything. The only thing I used not in this case was a small piece of electrical tape and my own scissors. When cutting you should know it's thin like magazine page type paper. You don't have any second chances so you must cut carefully! The MVP of this kit is the glue. It dries fast so be sure you're making the right move. I thought going in that the plants would be a pain but it's not so bad. I wouldn't give mine as a gift because it's my first shot and honestly my glueing was a bit haphazard but I love it. I would totally give as a gift if it's my second kit or I was more surgical on the first time. It comes with a wood stand kinda like a phone stand. It's a bunny shape. Really nice for displaying it! If you read all this thanks and go but it, it's cute and why not 😅

The instructions can be sketchy at times. A few missing parts that I was able to scrounge from other projects I have worked on but nothing major. It is very small to work with and requires tweezers a bit more sturdy that the ones supplied. I like the overall results.

I bought the candy shop one. After making larger 3D puzzles that are a lot like this but a bit larger these are super hard to follow the instructions. These are Not for beginners. The instructions are not from English. You can tell they were first Chinese or something. And the pieces are not very well marked on how to make. I was told to put this piece of material into a ball that either wasn’t included or it was the ball that was so tiny no one could ever fit material through the hole. I mused some charms from when I make bracelets The rest are the pieces are all together in a few bags. Not marked. I’m only 1/2 way through it, but give yourself several hours just to get started. Reading the instructions It’s also discribed in CM instead of inches. My picture is as far as I’ve gotten after two days. This is NOT FOR CHILDREN. The pieces are also too small for there hands. As an adult I will enjoy figuring it out but it is NOT marked.

This was the best way to get into creating miniatures! Everything you needed and super easy step-by-step instructions. The glue was a little bit tricky as it stays pliable for a long time. My little sled collapsed on itself. I also found it left lots of glue “spider webs” that I had to deal with. The one bit of rage came with the lights as the top light didn’t have long enough wires so it took about 50 tires and some electrical tape to actually get it to light.

great instruction booklet, plenty of material to work with. glue takes a day or two to completely dry and smells strong. after wiring the lights carefully, I inserted the batteries, but the lights don't seem to work; I checked the power on the batteries and they were all low on power. a miniature dollhouse of this scale is best left for those who worked with tiny items in the past (it's my first time using a DIY dollhouse kit and many areas where challenging, more so than nail art, which is my passion).
