Do yourself and your deer a favor. Extremely effective! Germination was fast, within 24hrs of first rain. Minimal prep work and I can’t say enough good things about imperial seed, it has never let me down. Will continue to plant and buy every year!

The Whitetail Institute Food Plot Seed is absolutely fantastic! I was amazed at how quickly it grew with almost no prep work. Didn’t last long because the deer didn’t give it time to grow. Ate it all up.

I hand wracked this seed into a very shaded area in my woods and it came up so fast and so thick! Now we wait for the deer to start hitting it! (Disclaimer: says to plant in August, I planted earlier to be sure something came up) will be replanting more in the future in a different spot!

Have used 5 different whitetail I products and this is by far least favorite. I had mostly grass come up and never eaten. My Winter Greens and Clover plots all did fine. I limed and Fert. but really only have green grass that was never eaten. As of Nov. 8 2018 they did eat any of the non grass items but grass is 80% of the plot. Never again. I'll do Winter Greens with some clover next year. Cost indicates lots of cheap grass seed and it showed. Planted in Midcoast Maine. Update March 2019, we received snow mid November and I did have deer eat everything once snow was on the ground. Probably a good very late season plot after most food sources gone.

I took away a star because I feel like they’re exaggerating the area one bag covers. However, I tilled the land once before planting, did no weed control and had 3 weeks of no rain after planting…. Still I was happy with the results. So if someone puts more care and attention then I did, I think it a great product! I recommend it as and easy start to food plots
