Is this stuffy suitable for a four-year old min-pin to play with?

I wouldn't recommend it. Thee are small eyeballs that could cause a checking problem. The same with the ears. My Personal recondition would be to purchase a larger dog. These are great for collector, not given to a child to play with. Sorry.

It's a copper brown, it feels kind of like velvet.
