The shape of the barrel makes it possible to both straighten and curl your hair and I was able to get some curl! Surprisingly, it wasnt difficult and with a little practice Im sure Ill get even quicker and itll be easier. It's easy to adjust the heat by turning the dial. I used it at about 340 and it did a good job curling and straightening and it goes all the way up to 450! I like that it comes with burn protection gloves and a nice carrying case. It has different temperatures I can choose for my safety, not to burn or over heat hair or extensions if I have them in! I like that it shuts off in 60 minutes if I am not using it, so if I start my hair and have to stop. I forget to turn it off I know if I take too long doing the other stuff.
