Ahm how did i live without it?
Yes i am a lawyer mom of 3 (aka, home renos are not my livelihood and i have limited time) and my house has been my project. I’ve had many things i’ve done with it but calking has really been something i hates doing bc it always came out crappy looking for me.Enter this wonder product. I have used it on anything that can benefit from a clean look by having space filled in. Baseboards, around outlets, between door frame etc. I smooth and wipe immediately with baby wipes and it looks finished and nice-really can’t tell it’s there which is the whole point. I’ve also painted over it when needed and it did well there too. Ordering my second tube and will try to post before and after pics so you could judge for yourself.

Holds the paint well
This (with the soap trick) smooths nicer than most silicons. Corollary- likely doesn’t have the super sticking power if some.Which is fine. It sticks well for us and it’s what we want. We installed a bathroom vanity and will be doing the main renovations next year so can reuse the vanity without issue. We also used it in many cracks around the house - window trim gaps, gaps where trim didn’t quite meet and painted over it well. Paint isn’t cracking yet but it’s BM advance paint so it will hold out longer than any other paint, it has also only been a month. Will update if we see any cracks.Paintable and not a superglue like some silicons can be.

Great Caulk
This stuff is really nice. It is super paintable and looks good, and the soap & water cleanup is nice.It only dries as fast as advertised under extremely specific conditions.

after using this will never use silicone again.
I put down six foot bead and smooth it out with my finger, clean up with water and paper towel. easy to use and looks great. I tried with silicone but it forms a skin very fast and not possible to smooth out and a solvent is needed to clean up.

Great caulk
This was easy to apply and easy to smooth. If the warranty is right, I won't have to replace for 10 years.
