LEGO Technic Chain Link x100

My son needed these for a motorcycle he was building. The value for the amount was great. He will have plenty more to use for future builds. Very easy to snap together. He has had so much fun building and these helped alot.

This is a great set of Lego Technic chain links! I bought the Lego Simple Machines book for my 10 year-old and we realized he did not have enough chain to make the machines in the book. We found this on amazon and although it is a bit expensive, you get a LOT of chain links! It is enough chain to make two or three of the simple machines all at the same time. This is the same chain that comes with the big Lego Technic motorcycle set but it is about 3 times as long.If you have bought the Lego Technic Idea Books, you are going to want this chain set! There are so many extra "inventions" that you can make using the chain. If you have a budding inventor, don't hesitate to invest in this set. I'm so glad I bought it for my son and it will be very useful if I get him the Lego Education set later.

These are NOT tank treads, if you think they are. These are to be used with gears. Works really well.

I feel this is rather overpriced, but since there seems to be no alternative, I bought it, and it works as expected. If you build things with the LEGO Technics XL motor, this chain is really helpful. The motor is very strong, and since it starts suddenly, it tends to pull things apart on startup. The chain makes it easier to construct gears, and use the motor to drive a car (e.g.). The chain links really come as a package of individual links, so you have to spend some time first assembling the chain from the 100 links.

Not quite sure where this product comes from (or any of the third party Lego items I purchase, for that matter), but it's the exact same type of chain that I recall having 30 years ago with my old Lego sets. I purchased this as an additional method for my son to connect his Lego gears together. It's a great way of getting around places where the spacing is tricky getting the gears to mesh (or if you don't want to use a rubber band). They come as separate pieces that need to be assembled, but that's easy enough. Removing and adding pieces is also how you size it to your project, so it's good to get a feel for it.No complaints, and I didn't find any defects with any of the pieces.

My bad, guys. So I didn’t realize they changed the technic gears so that the newer ones aren’t compatible with the chain. Works great, better price than Bricklink.
