my break up/love ball
the first time i met my ex gf, we were standing outside of a bar and randomly, a #12 pool ball came rolling down the street. she picked it up and kept it for a while. then likely gave it to goodwill as 10 years had passed. fast forward to last year, we rekindled our love and then she dumped me. i bought her this pool ball to reconcile our love.. its probly sitting in another goodwill. the ball is exactly how you would imagine it though. my heart is still broken.

perfect for trackball
unlike cheaper 8 balls, this one doesn't have an almost imperceptible raised edge around the number that catches on the steel rollers in my CST (now x-keys) trackball. would buy again.

Apparently low quality control
I received my ball and on first inspection it looked very nice. But since I'm not using this to play pool, but for an art project and need to be perfect in every way, I noticed the center white cylinder is not actually centered but tilted quite a bit. The way this ball is constructed is there is a central white cylinder that the eights are embedded into which runs all the way through the black part. Most people probably wouldn't care, but the whole reason I purchased this ball was because it's supposed to be "the best", and to have the white cylinder "tilted", when the cheap ones are dead center, I'm left disappointed.
