Where is it made? Is it made in China?

I tried to research and determine from the upc bar code that it was NOT made in China......But when taking out of box the gauge itself it stamped "MADE IN CHINA."

What is the accurracy of this guage?

Accuracy is relative to the intended use. I use the guage I bought on my pool filter, accuracy not as important as consistency. I would probably spend a great deal more on a guage that could potentially lead to a life threatening event.

When used to measure pressure of a enclosed vessel filled with steam, will the heat damage the gauge?

The description does not mention heat as a problem. It states: “Stainless steel case, brass wetted parts, glycerin filled” and it meets drinking water standards, so it will probably be fine as long as there’s not anything corrosive.
