Little Sheep Hot Pot Soup Base With Dipping Sauce And 2 pcs Strianer ladleCombo Set (Tomato Soup Base)

We went to the Asian market and asked some people and they all suggested this brand as the best overall flavor. This was a great deal as it was cheaper than the market and included the ladles which I had been meaning to get.We are addicted to hot pots now, 3 times in one week as it is so easy, quick, and fun. Who can't boil 6 cups of water and pour in contents? I don't have to really cut the veggies and everyone gets to take what they want. For us its 1 protein, 4-8 veggies, and either noodles or rice cakes.I like the plain flavor with my seafood/tofu and the spicy with meat but thats just me.The other nice thing is we really get in our veggies and we eat far less meat because if you slice something really thin it just seems like so much more so I've been able to get away with about 1/2 as much meat at a meal which makes up for the price of these packets.

The spicy broth is decent, the tomato broth is sour so don’t add any tomatoes to it. I did because one of the reviews says so and I did and it made it even more sour, me and my family didn’t like that. The dipping sauce is thick and chunky like peanut butter and taste like it too. The dipping sauce is really small, I expected it to big like the bag as they claim in the picture but it came in a small containers.

The clear soup is amazing great taste and the flavor builds while cooking, the spicy one is amazingly spicy starts out mild then gets spicier the longer you cook. I love them both even tho I’m not a fan of too hot I can handle this bc the flavor is worth the burn

As someone had already said, the two flavors are pretty much identical, but for a base they're not bad, since after all a hotpot is all about enhancing the flavor more by adding in ingredients. Just a heads up the smell is quite aromatic and strong but besides that it's a decent starting base for your hotpot, the spicy broth could use more spice but you can just add that in as you go to suit your tastes.

This is the closest thing to Little Sheep I’ll be getting for a while. The only restaurant we had in Hawaii had recently closed down due to COVID-19, but this soup base packet provides you with nearly everything except the chunks of garlic and nuts that you can easily add yourself.What’s great about this is if I suddenly didn’t want to have spicy hot pot, I could easily have the original broth which is just as tasty as in restaurant and could save the chili’s and oils for sauces or other broths later.

This is a great product, although theres one major problem with it, it's quite a bit salty, if they could cut back on the salt it would be perfect!I loved how it came with dipping sauces and the strainer ladles!Oh the spicy it needs to be Málà, it was very weak for spice.

Both of the broth tasted the same. There wasn’t any spice in the spicy one. The dipping sauce was very bland and thick.

My mom likes the original flavor while my husband I prefer the spicy one. We recently got really into hot pot and saw good reviews for this brand. We tried it and enjoyed it when we don’t want to make the broth from scratch.
