The premium therapy pack can be cooled in the freezer for use as an ice pack or warmed in the microwave for use has a heat pack. All hot/cold packs should only be used with a sleeve, compression cover or other suitable barrier to protect the skin from extreme heat or cold. How to Use: 1. If using the HypaGel Therapy Pack for heat therapy, warm it in the microwave for approximately 50 seconds. If using the Therapy Pack for cold therapy, cool it in the freezer for at least an hour. 2. Insert the therapy pack into a sleeve, compression cover or similar barrier. 3. Apply the therapy pack to the injured area. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Would the strap go around the top of leg (thigh)?**
A: Should do. Be careful it is not to tight to restrict blood flow. 

Easiest way is probably cap refill. (I'm former SAR and Emergency Medical Technician. 

*Before* use press toenail till it turns white. Let go. It normally takes 1-2 seconds. Note time for you. Do it again after you wrap up leg. It should be the same. If it takes longer then it may be too tight. Check again every twenty minutes. Any numbness, tingling, pins and needles or colour change in leg below strapping *immediately* release it.

**Q: How do you use the compression strap on your arm**
A: Sorry I only bought the pads and not the strap. However the pads are excellent.

**Q: How long does a heat last for?**
A: a good hour but it was for the cold side I needed

**Q: Are these safe to use around food in a cool box?**
A: I am sure it is safe if the product is used as intended and manufacturers instructions have been followed. 
My gel pack is used almost daily and its always in the freezer. For extra safety place the product in a plastic bag whilst in the freezer.  I would say that it is best to discard the product if the outer packaging shows any wear to it and cracks or leaks are visable.
