Grey-24x18: Gets Picky Cat's Approval
I've been sitting our 8 yr old Grandkitty for 3 months. She suffers from PTSD after 2 terrorizing vet procedures. She misses her mom, my daughter; took weeks for her to feel safe & warm warm-up to us. On the first night she claimed the head pillows on our bed as her own. Nightly stand-offs were not going well. This inexpensive bed was an attempt to keep her fine, chocolate brown fur off the bed & provide her a sense of security by staking a claim. Believe it or not, she took to it right away; she seemed to know it was for her. Here's what I found: I chose the smaller version to fit on our bed, yes, day & night. It fits her well, even though she's a med-large, pudgy lady. It's been run through the washer, nothing fancy, a 12 yr old top-load, on delicate cycle w/cold water, then dried w/easy heat. Came out brand new. The material and weave on the bottom (kinda like a med-weight poly sports canvas) makes it semi-waterproof which helped protect our coverlet from the hair ball I had to wash-up. (Luckily it landed in her bed, not ours!) Almost bought the fleece bed for softness, but this faux fur is truly soft, not stiff or scratchy as feared. The bottom isn't heavily padded, so it wouldn't be that much protection from a hard or very cold floor. However, it's easy to move around so it'd likely be good for a car ride or on the bottom of a kennel w/a few towels underneath for padding for the older or arthritic pet. The rolled edge is just enough to make her feel comfortably confined and, she often sleeps w/her head on it as a pillow. Although it's not a prob on our bed, the bottom is rather slick so it'd probably slide around a bit over a hard floor. She's not a 'curled-up' sleeper so she takes up most of the space on this bed. Unlike a smaller, closed-in cat bed, our grandkitty likes to be able to snuggle-in yet see what's happening around her at all times. So, this open concept bed suits her best. I need to buy 3 more. We have 3 young feline adoptees who were abandoned at a Fire Station at only 4.5 weeks old (guess the previous owner thought there was a baby cat drop-off, no-questions-asked law). They're complete opposites; relaxed, friendly, people-like in affection. Even so, for them, like my grandkitty, it's probably a good idea to get them accustomed to a portable bed in case they ever have to go to a sitter, kennel or visiting. They'll have the comfort of their own bed, handy to take along to remind them of home. I know my grandkitty's bed will follow her home for continued snoozing & enjoyment. I recommend this bed for others to try. On the other hand, if you're a pet guardian, especially a cat parent, you know there's no absolute way to predict if a pet will take to the bed we want them to use! I thought it was a good purchase & value. But then, it made the grandkitty happy, what's not to like?

Little heavenly cloud mat!
Excellent crate mat! My Maltese will not go into her kennel on her own accord. The literal minute I put this little cloud pillow inside. She laid right down on her own. This is the picture I’m sharing. The crate is a 19 inch and the pillow is 22 and it fits perfectly and rises up the back for a little extra. It’s lightweight and fluffy and perfect for a small crate. Buy one.!

OUTSTANDING VALUE FOR THIS BED!!!
I Bought one of these Beds through Amazon after going to several of my Local Stores & Looking at Crate Beds. After getting "Sticker Shock" on the Crazy Prices my Local Stores were charging for one of these beds, I decided to check with Amazon. I am so GLAD that I did! I was able to Purchase the SAME IDENTICAL BED, (SAME BRAND AS WHAT MY LOCAL STORES WERE SELLING) through Amazon for $15 LESS than my Local Stores were selling this bed for! This bed is Awesome! My Siberian Husky, (who is VERY FINICKY about what He likes), took right to this bed & he goes in his crate ALL THE TIME now just to lay on this bed! It is a Very SOFT Bed, & my Husky REALLY LIKES the Padded "Bumpers" that are on the ends of this bed. He likes to rest his head on the Padded "Bumpers" & use them as Pillows! My Young Husky, (Who is Still Learning House Rules & has ALOT of "Puppy" in him) did CHEW & Rip the Padded "Bumpers" & pulled out some of the Filling while he was in the Crate & Bored one time when I was away from home, so I Came back & Bought 2 MORE of these Crate Beds.....One to Replace the Chewed Bed & the Other as a "Spare" Bed. This is an AWESOME DEAL on these Beds!! The Same Brand & Quality that my Local Big Name Pet Stores are Selling for $15 per bed MORE than what I got this bed for through Amazon. My Only COMPLAINT, (If you could CALL it that), is that I Wish this bed was a Little MORE Padded on the bottom, but, Like I said, My Siberian Husky is VERY FINICKY on what he Likes, & He LOVES this Bed so MUCH that he practically LIVES in his Crate so he can be on his new bed! I would definately Recommend this bed to anyone thinking about buying one of these. It is Completely Machine Washable & Washes with NO PROBLEMS at all with a Regular Wash Cycle & Tumble Drying on Low Heat. My Bed Washed just Fine, No Problems! I Liked the bed so Much, I have bought a Total of 3 of these Beds through Amazon & if I ever need another one of these, I will be back to Buy another one! EXCELLENT DEAL!!! :-) :-)

Sheds big time, Wash Separately
I really like these MidWest QuietTime beds, I have about eight of them in different sizes, all the same brand and color. They’re soft, comfy, and my dogs use them every day. The only downside is that the gray faux fur sheds quite a bit, especially when washed. If you put them in the washer with blankets or mats, the fur sticks to everything. I definitely recommend washing these beds by themselves to avoid the mess. Other than that, they’re great little beds and my dogs love them.

Cats finally like the beds
I got two different sizes of these beds because I knew my cats would like this style, as they can sprawl out on it or cuddle up to the edge. I had to get one for one of my cats because her main sleeping place, as it was, was on a towel with a rolled up end, against a cardboard box, which she used to rest her head against and it was not working out at all. She needed the more relable edge "pillow" that this bed provides. God one for her and so had to get one for the other cat so she would feel included. Well, both promptly rejected their new beds. I think it was because the bottoms were puffy and also made crinkly noises. But then, they had to use the beds because they were in their favorite sleeping places and they could only hold out for so long. Now, my cat who needed the "pillow" border had tentatively "clawed" at the bottom of the bed (she was "testing" it somehow), is okay with it, and now she not only sleeps in the bed and uses the edge as a pillow, but she sleeps omnidirectionally and uses every edge as a pillow. Win! My other cat probably thinks the bed is a little too open for her, but I think she likes the way it defines a little space for her (where the bed is located, on the couch). Funny about how cats are so picky about everything! But these still worked out so well that I would get more for other areas of the house if need be, and I would get these for my outdoor cats if I get shelters for them. I don't think my cats would like the "donut" style beds at all, but these ones are just right for them, I think. I'm really glad these beds in the two sizes I ordered them in, are available. I do recommend these, they're great basic beds for cats or dogs.

Paws up from 9 cats
I have cat beds from various price ranges. The cats don't use them for whatever reason. But they do like these on a chair, bed, couch, and outdoors. There's just enough of an edge to cozy up to, yet still be...I don't know. Whatever the cats are looking for. The fabric is synthetic sherpa. Cool in the summer, warm in the winter, and dries easily when washing or using as outdoor bedding. The bolsters are firm, yet soft. They don't collapse or fold over. The flat area is thin, so I'd use padding underneath the pad on a hard and/or cold surface. And definitely for a senior pet. I've bought several sizes for cats that like to curl up or stretch out. If it's for a chair, I'd get the size that fills the chair from side to side. Before washing, I use a $1 hair removal brush sold near the laundry supplies. It has a velvet fabric that picks up hair and fuzz when brushed across fabric. Then you run your hands against the nap, and the hair falls right off. This means less hair in your machines and your plumbing. I use economy warm water, a mild organic detergent, and you can then air dry out in the sunshine or use a low/medium heat dryer. These cushions wash up beautifully and last a long time. They'd be fine in a carrier, too.

Fits medium sized cats and is very comfy! Just one little concern…
My cat laid on it as soon as I put it on the bed with me, he loves it! The color is nice and it kind of has a light memory foam feeling to it. My only complaint is the little plastic thing that stuck the tag to the bed doesn’t seem to come out from the back for you to pull it through and remove it. So I ended up cutting a bit of the bed’s surface to cut as much of it off as I could. I didn’t want a sharp piece of plastic sticking out where he’d be laying. Other than that it’s great! He usually cuddles against me in bed but now I get some personal space when he lays on his bed a foot or so away. He’s 12lbs and it fits him fairly well.

Cozy Addition to Crate
This cushion fits bottom of crate perfectly as expected. Corner elastics hold it in place. Makes a perfect spot for a small dog to curl up in.
