## Description

Ligularia x yoshizoeana Palmatiloba is a large and vigourous hybrid, derived from a cross bewtween Ligularia dentata and Ligularia japonica. It is an impressive plant with large toothy palmate foliage that creates a very dramatic and exotic atmosphere and is often grown as much for its leaves. Large daisy like, orange/yellow flowers are produced on, almost leafless stalks that rise above the foliage in early summer and are attractive to Butterflies and Bees. Requires a shady location with constant moisture. Especially good in woodland areas, beside ponds and streams or in boggy soil. Excellent in a mixed planting, or in groups. Can easily be grown in a pot or other container but shade a moisture conditions must be met. Use a good quality compost to which. Feed regularly as a hungry plant is a poor performer. We recommend Osmoscote pro 8-9 month applied in the early spring. One application gives all the nutrients the plant requires for the whole year. .

As you can see, this poor specimen of a plant arrived today. Although it was packaged well the plant has obviously been eaten by something and is of poor quality. If I was buying in person I would never have chosen this plant especially at the cost!
