Works great!
This little DC block filter works great! Shows as an open at DC, and has basically flat response from 10 kHz to at least 3 GHz. See attached charts from my testing with a Rigol oscilloscope and an HP VNA.

I use this to isolate my LNA from the rest of the electronics. After nearly a year I have had no problems.

Not really worth it.
Like many of you I was contemplating of buying this DC block or the one that is nearly half the price. I bought both and measured them with a VNA that goes down to 10 kHz. This DC block had perfect transmission down to that range, with like 0.04 dB attenuation all the way (it is the flat line in the pictures). However the cheap DC block showed attenuation up to about 2 MHz and at 1 MHz the attenuation was 2 dB and at 160 kHz it had about 13 dB attenuation. Above 2 MHz the performance was identical. Since I don't look at any signals this low I actually appreciate the attenuation from the cheap DC block and I think my spectrum analyzer will also appreciate this. With this in mind, I only recommend the Nooelec DC block if you are trying to pick up signals lower than 2 MHz.

Matches Spec
Remember, these are for SHORT TERM use. You do not use them at the top of it's rated DC power while doing TX or RX for long periods (multiple hours), They will get hot, and that will impact your signal.
