Does it work better with soaked wood chips or dry wood chips?

As a professional Chefi can tell you 100% soak. I soak with either water, apple juice or rootbeer depending on the flavor I'm looking for. The amount and intensity of smoke and flavor are much more enhanced with soaked chips. Dry chips burn up way too fast which leads to losing the crucial smoke when you have to open the door to replace chips.
