It came in a box that reminded me of a shoe box, but it had all the Barbie labels printed on the box so this is how it just come in the stores too. It was very beautiful and all the limbs bend at the knees and elbows. This Barbie is fun for a child to play with and beautiful for display for the collector!

**Q: What does bmr stand for, and what is the significance of 1959?  thank you.**
A: BMR1959  stands for  Barbara millicent Roberts who the doll was made for by her mother Ruth in 1959.

**Q: is it ok to put in the pool or the beach ?**
A: I would not get this doll wet or expose it to sand.  At the very least, it would likely ruin the doll’s hair and clothes.  Might work if you put a bathing suit on her and a swim cap to protect the hair.

**Q: Is braided one  curvy?**
A: No she is a regular style Barbie. Only the the one in the floral dress is curvy out of this series.

**Q: Does the ring come off? Im buying this for my daughter's birthday.**
A: Yes. The ring does come off

She is one of the most unique Barbies I've ever seen. I'm very pleased to add her to my collection. I love her braids. She is as appears in the photo and totally posable. She came in a cardboard box I know some collectors like the clear one better but I take mine out of the box.
