Works as advertised , very accurate , a must when heating oil to fry

I was not sure what to expect from a temperature reading unit that is low priced. I am pleasantly happy with how easy it works and more so how accurate it is in comparing it to the various thermostats in my home. It is almost spot on with everyone of them and it will help to find drafts coming in during the cold winters here in Frazier Park. I highly recommend buying it as you will be happy too.

I question whether the accuracy meets spec, but I'm amazed at how well it handles so many different emissivities. The important thing is relative measurements. For instance, how different is the temperature of your glass window from the wall surrounding it?

Not for Humans,Do not point at eyes, it does read food and rooms with a good Accuracy. It is worthit. The batteries go in the handle black piece. No instrucyions included.

It really helps in my resin projects

The media could not be loaded. Bought this to gauge the temp in my snake terrarium. It’s as described. Easy to use and works great! Just pull the trigger and shoot. I like that it turns off by itself. Also you can pull and release the trigger for a single temp or you can hold down the trigger and sweep across an area for multiple temp readings consecutively.

I’m ok with it, It works well I just wish they had other colors.

I received this instrument in a heat sealed pack. The seal was cut open all the way around. Batteries were sealed. that's on Amazon.This thermometer works great. I don't know how long it will last, and don't really care, but I needed it for a particular job and have been using it all week. If you're a mechanic, buy 2 at that price. Just in case it only has a short life. This may last for years. I didn't check for accuracy, but it seems pretty damn close.
