(6 day work weeks) I've bought dozens of heat guns. From complete garbage $30 heat guns, to ridiculously expensive Steinel heat guns. This heat gun has lasted me the longest and is still going. I've currently been using it for 8 months and it shows no signs of letting up. The only downside? A bit heavy with the metal housing, but it's totally worth it to not deal with brittle, plastic nonsense. I'll update this review when it gives out.Update: After a year and a half, I had my first problem with the heat-gun. There was a loose connection in the male plug from pulling it around and getting it caught on things this whole time. I replaced the male plug for a few bucks and it's still going strong.2nd update: I no longer use this heat gun as heavily as I've changed trades. I used this thing heavily everyday for 2 years and 4 months. It's still going strong.
