So personally? I love it. Good quality and better than spending $200+ at some place like West Marine. It gives the boat a lot cleaner look than the place wheel that was on my center console. It's pretty much my favorite upgrade to date.

This is an amazing steering wheel for the price. I put this on my 2007 pontoon boat and it instantly made the console look newer and more classy. It's solidly made and feels great in the hand while driving. I lubricated the suicide knob real good with silicone spray and it works great (maybe not as smooth as the ones with ball bearings, but totally adequate). The knob is a game changer for docking or steering while standing up. This is the biggest bang for the buck upgrade I've done on my boat yet. Definitely get this if you're looking for a destroyer style wheel.

I ordered this stainless steel steering wheel with speed turn knob to replace the plastic OEM steering wheel on my Carolina Skiff J-16. It was easy to remove the original wheel using a steering wheel puller, and the new steering wheel installed in just a few minutes. It is a perfect fit and provides a high quality wheel for my boat that is much easier to steer through turns. This is very handy while navigating the narrow channels through the salt marsh, as well as quick wheel spin while docking. Highly recommended!

Item arrived on time and as advertised, and was a perfect fit for my application.

First off let me say, the price is not bad for a stainless steering wheel. ($45). It does look great on the boat. The cons- Isn't balanced. When you turn the wheel you can see it is warped and not an even rotation. The knob works but is a little sticky because there's no bearings. You cant remove the knob if needed without grinding it off. Overall gave it 4 stars because of the price. Still would recommend for someone on budget.

Attractive appearance, solid feel. My only criticism is the provision of only one key slot, instead of 3 or 4 which would have allowed optimizing the position of the immoveable rapid turn knob in relation to the wheel straight ahead position. In my case, the knob ends up at 6 o'clock when wheel in straight ahead, ie causes maximum interference with legs. Ideally,of course, knob should be at 12 o'clock.
