Hi Shelve life is great. Buy from Triple Traders, we make sure they are fresh, 2 years from now expiration.

Question for manufacturer only: Is the vegetable oil used refined or extra virgin oil? Is the flavor enhancer artificial or natural? thanks!

I don't know, but not very authentic tasting and I only buy once in a while and modify to my taste. Thus, once added ingredients the oil issue becomes a somewhat moot point as the solution to pollution is dilution.
