I’ve been self tanning for years. By nature, self Tanner’s are drying to the skin, especially liquid and mousse tanner with bronzer. The tanner can leave the skin crepey with dry lines a secondary lotion can’t get rid of. This tanner is a moisturizing lotion and causes almost no drying at all. There is no instant bronzer, so no mess rubbing off on sheets, clothes and towels. The odor when the tan processes is VERY low. The result is an even, dark (not too dark) tan. No dried out skin! I’m 60 now and need all the moisture I can get. I’m 4 days in and the tan looks fantastic. The only issue for some is it does take about 10 hours to totally process into a full tan. It’s really no different than other tanners, but those others have bronzers that immediately give you color as opposed to waiting to see development. This is the best self tanner I’ve ever used. Not the very cheapest, but well worth the price. I can get two, full bodied tans from one bottle and they should last about 10 days plus each time. I applied my tannerwith those disposable medical gloves to avoid staining the palms of my hands. I took the gloves off and finished applying to the top of my hands with tissue. Be careful of nail cuticles and rough patches of skin as they will tend to over absorb the tanner. I finishe to tanning application by using baby wipes to remove any tanner from between fingers and toes, bottoms of feet (also use just slightly on the bottom sides of feet for natural look. It’s a little hard to gauge this as you can’t see the tan before processing, but “clean up” needs to be done while application is fresh. Lastly, you can use a thin coat of Vaseline as a barrier to protect areas you don’t want tanned (like cuticles, etc.

There is a video for this face tanner that I suggest watching. I was so worried that my face would look streaky but it actually looked really good after application. I exfoliated and iced my face before applying the lotion. I also used a microfiber mitt to apply. I bought the light shade and it developed into a nice light tan. The next time I use this, I will be more careful near my hairline because there was a distinct ending at my hairline. I will try going right into my hairline. It faded nicely. Also, it smells like the usual sunless tanner smell but not too overpowering. I would recommend this product for anyone that wants a tan but not the sun damage!

This facial self tanner is easy to use & spreads easily on faces & neck area. Looks natural. Doesn’t smell too bad. It is quite drying to skin. This is what I did: exfoliate skin on face & neck. Apply very small amount (nickel sized spot) on fingers. Rub in a circular motion starting with cheeks & working my way to forehead. Apply 2nd small amount to face, rub in circular motion downward onto jawline & neck. Third small amount: rub in circular motions around entire face, neck, even ears & forehead up into hairline. This step is important because only areas covered will tan. If you wear your hair back or up, you do not want your white ears standing out. Same with the skin between your eye lids & eye brow. Just a very light coat will keep everything looking natural. After a couple of hours this product has a tendency to pond in wrinkles & around nose. Smooth it out several times before sleeping. I recommend applying in the evening, as this product will stain clothing and light colored hair, although washing will easily remove stains. You will want to apply a moisturizer in the morning as this product can make your skin dry. Remember to wash your hands after each application. If your fingertips or nails begin to yellow dip them in a solution of warm water, dish detergent & bleach. That will fix the issue.

I really like Beauty By Earth tanning products. I appreciate that they have clean ingredients, they feel good on my skin, the color is buildable and looks natural. I have even bought these for my daughters and they love them too.

This product was easy to use and I loved the kabuki brush I purchased along side it. I used the matching product for my body and it goes on slightly white which allows you to rub it in. I don't particularly care for smells in my products as that's usually just additive, but this one was nice. I did a small patch test on my knee for a few hours just to test any immediate reactions, but should have waited the full 24 hours, because after applying and waiting the full 24 hours, my whole face and body (with the body lotion tanner) are covered in hives and raised bumps. The final color is nice as is the consistency, my body just rejected this formula, likely whatever natural/organic ingredients are used for fragrance. I've used most other ingredients like the various oils in my other products and find natural fragrances to be sensitizing to my skin. Oh well! I hope your skin loves it because it's otherwise a good product.

This cream is awesome! it gives the right color and friends asked me “where did you go to get tanned?”. I’m very happy with this product. I like the light scent and the fact that it is a cream and not foam. i wish it was sold in Italy too, as I visited my family there and everybody wanted it. I looked on amazon.it but I could not find it even if other products of this brand were available.

Gentle on my skin. A gradual look so I don't scare my friends! Lol Looks very natural. I can't be out in the sun much because of medicine I take, so this was a wonderful alternative! I chose it from many positive reviews. Is is the first tanning product I have ever purchased . I also bought the lotion for my arms and legs. I am very happy!

Love this self tanner! Usually face self tanners are very blotchy and a total miss but this one truly lived up to its expectations. The tan was not too unnatural yet still visibly dark enough that it gives a nice glowy tan. It smelt very good not like the other smelly self tanners, this one smelt like vanilla and cocoa which I loved. Lastly the lotion itself felt very nice and hydrating on the skin and did not irritate my skin at all, honestly i’d love it as just a lotion😂 All in all I really liked this product but I would recommend getting the medium to dark if u want a more noticeable glow/tan because I have quite fair skin and got the medium to dark and I really liked the result

Works really, really well. I have ridiculously sensitive skin, and this does not irritate me in the slightest. I get the medium-dark bottle, and use it once every other day. It gives me the perfect colour, and if I want it darker, I'll apply 2 coats. It has yet to disappoint me.

I found it was very easy and turns quickly wash your hand right after your done lol

Wow. This is the best facial tanner I've tried. The color is beautiful and natural looking, it smells amazing, and it makes my skin glow and look incredible all day. I'm so glad I tried this. And the color blends in so well, not blotchy or streaky!

Used it after shower at bedtime. Colour transferred to pillowcase and white pj top, also after shower in the morning to shirt
