Will this compressor display the tire pressure without using it?

I won't display the pressure unless it is plugged in. I plug it in, connect it to the tire, it displays the current pressure. I then enter the desired pressure and start it up.

Does anyone else have a hard time getting this to inflate balls? What am I doing wrong?

ohhhh It's not just me. I am also having a hard time doing that. I am using the adapter for balls, but it stops way before it is inflated. I follow the instructions of the recommended psi in the ball, but still I do not know what happens.

What is the difference between the orange and red version?

The orange version is the latest model. The red as far as I can tell is the same but is the older version.
