Directv SWM SL3S Lnb Kit With Power and Splitter (3D2RBLNBR0-01, PI21R1-03, MSPLIT4R1-03)

I just had a new roof put on, so updated my Directv equipment while the dish was taken off. Now only one cable (versus 4 before). The roofers put the dish back on into the old holes and it didn't even need adjustment! Everything is working great, but one word of advice, my receivers did not adjust automatically to the new SWM setup...had to manually adjust them. I had not seen this in any of the documentation, but figured it out myself. Fortunately was easy to do in the satellite setup mode on the receivers. I am getting much stronger signal off all the satellites (mainly 90+) and a great HD picture on all stations. Now what to do with the old cables and multiswitch????

First off I have had directv for years and when we went to move they wanted us to pay for a movers deal (200 bucks) and wait for 2 weeks. The directv dish in the new location was a slimline and had the old 4 wire lnb. My equipment was a genie dvr and would not work with the old stuff. This kit replaced the entire issue. Upgraded lnb to a modern swm. Replaced the switch, and now I have a single wire multiswitch setup for the genie system and all works like before I moved.

I used this package to replace Directv hardware that had taken a lightning strike. Paying Directv at least $200 for a service call was not appealing, so I did it myself. The parts were very easy to replace and work perfectly.

I purchased this kit mainly just for the LNB. I needed a new one, and I wanted to make sure I got one that is 4K ready. This was cheaper than what some people were selling the whole kit for! I do like the fact that I have a spare splitter and SWiM power supply just in case mine ever have problems.

Yay no more b band converters! Easy simple upgrade. Changed out from sl5 with multiswitch to simple swm. Contrary to videos on the internet and things I've read. You only need ONE line to a two tuner box with a swm setup. Yes you still have both tuners, record on one watch a different program on the other and one coax line to swm input.

Had an older multi switch lnb, which required 2 wires into the house, replaced it with this one which only requires one wire. Works great.
