Very sharp and pointy. I even use this trimmer for my dog's hair (I don't recommend since its not for animals and can be a hazard).

Very sharp. Had to loosen the screw a bit to get easier operation. Finger holes are a tad tight for me - average size male. In retrospect, I should have gotten a 5.5 inch one for facial trimming.

These are great for nose hair, the bane of older people who work and need to look their best. These are more accurate than safety scissors for nostril hair, and cut very well. I like the electric rotary shavers designed for this, but the scissors are more efficient.

Professional?!? No professional I can imagine would want to deal with these scissors. While it says "made in Germany", the company is in Turkey. Any inference that this product is of high quality due to its manufacture in Germany is bogus. These scissors are extremely hard to open and close causing the user to push hard and consequently cause the scissors to open suddenly and widely, possibly causing injury when close to the nose or ear. Upon trying to close and then reopen in the course of attempting to trim hair, it becomes not only risky as mentioned but very tiring. The surface of the cutting edges are poorly machined and this may be the reason for the poor functioning of these things but whatever the reason, quality control is clearly not a priority here. These things are a misery and a danger to use and are relegated to the junk drawer. I have purchased several pairs of trimming scissors in various drug and sundry stores over the years and every one of them, bar none, was head and shoulders above this excuse for a functioning pair of trimming scissors.,

Bought these scissors to trim nose hairs. Not only too big but not at all sharp and bot a smooth motion. They feel cheap. I’m so disappointed.
