Florensi Meditation Cushion Velvet Floor Pillow with Buckwheat Fill

February 2022 update: this meditation cushion is still in excellent condition. I’ve had it nearly 2 years. It’s greatly improved my journey to meditate. I was a beginner & I feel due to this cushion it truly helped my posture to meditate comfortably & feel balanced. I suffer from lower back pain & this cushion has gotten me in a position, when it’s meditation time, to adjust my posture properly & to mediate pain-free. You’d think after all this time the cushion would be squished but it’s not. It shows the quality. I’ve taken good care of it. I love how the gray covering can be taken off to launder. I wash on the hand wash cycle on cold & hang to dry. It’s still in wonderful condition. This is truly one of the greatest gifts to myself. True longevity. I love it. I feel you will too :) Original review: I began meditation about 2 months ago. Finding a comfortable position anywhere wasn’t ideal. In realizing there are meditation cushions :) I began to browse amazon. I found this cushion & loved the design & description of it. The reviews were wonderful & I went with it. What a major change it’s been for me since having it. The cushion is plush with a velvet like soft material. It’s durable & sturdy for my body. Very solid. I’m 160lbs, 5’6” & there’s plenty of room for more. It’s full & a bit heavy which reflects the quality of it. It’s so comfortable to sit on. It’s design is of a perfect balance for my body posture. It’s such a comfort for meditating & I find myself going to it for a break in the day. It’s become my favorite new piece of “furniture.” The color gray is much darker than the picture shows but I love it along with the comforting white design on top. There’s a sturdy handle for carrying it as well. It’s been a life changer when I meditate. It was well worth what I paid. Due to the quality I foresee the cushion lasting a long time. I definitely recommend!

I purchased it for one of my friends. She does meditate daily and loved this cushion alot. Its so comfy and soft to meditate longer time, supports the posture as well. Quality i soo good and easy ti carry. Best one for those who meditate longer hours at one place.

I will probably never sit directly on the floor to meditate again. This is wonderful and comfortable. I really enjoy it and love it. I also purchased a larger square buckwheat cushion and together I feel so happy, my body feels better. I am middle aged and it helps with my joints, frequently. When I was sick and everything hurt and I had to sleep nonstop, this little pillow was my secret weapon to a not sore neck from lying in bed so much. I would definitely purchase this again, and may purchase more, because they also can be used instead of a body pillow, they can be used as a weight on sore feet, am arm pillow, a neck or head pillow, or the meditation cushion. I highly recommend it. The handle seems a little iffy to me, so I tell my kids they can't touch my cushion, lest it become airborne projected, or swung by the stitching that isn't designed for children's rough play. I like this very much, and will replace it whenever needed with the same product. I may also buy a couple to have on the couch instead of those weak, useless foam ones that get squashed and unattractive. These will be great for couches, chairs, body pillows.

Initially I was worried this may be a "westernized" Zafu, which may not be suitable for traditional Chan/Zen postures. But turns out it can be a great fit. The cushion is 5" high, that includes a 1" foam (as indicated on a card in the shipping package) . Initially this was a bit high for me, then I easily removed the 1" foam ==> Now it feels quite similar to the Zafu I used in my local Chan meditation center. Now I can sit properly and comfortably! To be honest, it still feels a bit hard for me at this moment (when I am in, e.g., the Burmese posture -- which requires sitting on the first 1/3 ~ 1/2 of the cushion and get both knees on the mat), but that can be adjusted by shaping the internal buckwheat hulls properly (e.g. pushing them backwards a bit to lower the first half). And I guess it may become even softer over time. (UPDATE: after ~ 1 week of usage, it feels softer now) Build quality is great. I got the bundle (round cushion + square mat). Both have a pleasing velvet cover, with beautifully engraved patterns (as advertised). I think this is totally worth the $100 investment.

I really wanted this kind of cushion because my ex had one and it was super comfortable for meditating. This one is too high, however. I am 5’2 and it makes me really tired because my legs can’t really rest in meditating position. Other than that, seems like a good product and the design is pretty. No sense in me keeping it; I will return it.

So I bought this cushion because I ache in lotus position 🧘🏻‍♀️ and I wanna be in lotus position when I meditate. I’ve done this in the past after having kids and being busy, I haven’t meditated in over 14years. “Free returns, what do I have to lose” I said as I made my purchase. I couldn’t see how this would be any better than placing 2 end pillows from my couch on the floor and sitting on them. I tried doing that and it wasn’t so comfy but why so many 5 star reviews for this cushion? I wondered. The cushion arrived 5 minutes ago and I carefully unpackaged it so all the shipping materials will be in good condition when I returned it. First impression... “small cushion, this is definitely gonna go back but I’ll sit on it first”.... plopped it onto the carpet and dropped my behind on it....” holy moly, this is firm and so darn comfy and the perfect size too. My legs do not hurt in lotus position” I am keeping this and it definitely gets the 5 star rating from me too.... I love this cushion so much!!!

Je vais commencer des cours de méditation et il me manquait mon coussin. Je suis venu donc sur Amazon et je suis tombé sur celui-ci qui m’avais l’air bien. Je ne regrette aucunement mon achat. Il est MAGNIFIQUE ET DE TRÈS BELLE QUALITÉ et très confortable !!! Il se déhousse facilement pour pouvoir le laver au besoin. Je recommande les yeux fermé
